Now I have an opportunity to buy a new Black 2 dr JL Rubi that doesn't have a couple of things I really, really would like to have. Those being leather and Infotainment and it is an automatic. I really wanted a manny, basically to save the dollars towards leather. It does have cold weather group which is a must have and a few other things like hard top insulation, engine block heater that will never get used as well as trail rail and even the Jeep trail rated kit. Things I would not have ordered.
All of that to say, the price is extremely right and they may be dinging me on trade a grand or maybe even $1,500, but the price is $5,700 off MSRP and minimal doc fee. No TTL savings in Oklahoma. I can basically get out the door with negative equity and TTL paid for right at sticker.
My dilemma is: Order a 19 and hope the myriad of gremlins (welding, steering, quality and etc) have been worked out and order the way I would want (manny tranny to save $2,000) or take the one in hand that has cloth and no infotainment but is automatic and Uconnect 4 7 inch screen? I really wanted the alpine system although I rarely crank it up anymore. Just figured it might be tech I need. Wondering what I lose with the 7 inch over the Infotainment.
Constructive opinions very much appreciated!
P.S. My financing rate is spectacular and in this rising rate environment, I don't expect cheap money to be around forever nor do I trust that Jeep won't have more price increases going forward.
