Fred I do not have any white marks on my frame. So does that mean
yours was checked and OK and mine has not been checked ??
i'm wondering if there were different plants making the frames, because i checked my vin and i have no recall.

That looks like it was a lot of fun. How's the traction with the all terrains?
Looks fun. Do you have aftermarket skids? Looks like tough terrain.

Thanks, Jim! Gosh, that sky and the red rock...such beauty. My husband and I would love to spend part time in that country when we retire.

I looked at the NHTSA site for recalls. Is that the correct place? It shows no recalls on my VIN. Will call dealership tomorrow as well.

I don't know. From what I understand there really are very few with this problem. I am thinking when they became aware of it they started inspecting and marking it to show it was checked. Just a guess.

I just tried to make an appointment for the UA5 (track bar weld) and was told they do not have a fix or course of action at this time and to wait for further notification.

Highly recommend retirement :like: We've been retired for 13 years. Thought we'd get bored but found we have been too busy to get bored. We make to St. George once a year for my wife to compete in the Huntsman World Senior Games. This year there are a little over 11300 athletes - actually more than the number of athletes that participated in the Rio Olympics! While she competes in Table Tennis I roam around the hills and desert geocaching. Today I'm going to do something sacrilegious - I'm going to wash the Jeep. Think I gained a few pounds of mud yesterday up in those beautiful red hills. The recent rain had left the "roads" with some nice ruts and mud puddles.
