What can I say. I'm just loved.
First I need a rack, and right now I'm waiting on AEV and / or Rhino Racks to bring theirs to market (higher capacity). The tent I'm still conflicted with. I want good mpg (hard shells) but the wife wants a full vestibule.
So far I've found that to be the weakest point underneath, i don't see the need for the full treatment like kevin and brit did on step child, i think the shorter wheelbase helps that a lot.I might give Trail Jeeps a go. Though I'm in danger of spending too much with them, they have done some amazing builds.
I am trying to keep from overbuilding again. I just want a bit of armor and a roof top tent.
That sounds familiar...maybe they just moved?St Mark's and Ave A use to have my favorite bar Alcatraz , but they close it down to opena sushi joint

Well it would not move back or forwards at all !! It will freak you out.
I thought something broke. It is a safety built in to it.
Close the door and all is well.

Same with the back gate open....won’t move. Wasn’t expecting that at all & found it quite annoying, as I was only trying to move up a bit & then park her.So has anyone tried to move your Wrangler with driver's door open ??

Just happened to me yesterday. Got a nail in my rear tire and drove to the tire store before pulling it out, just in case. I opened the door to back up to get the nail on top & no go! I freaked out, put it in drive & same thing. Thought it was some kind of a computer glitch so I shut it off & restarted, still no go. That's when I figured out that it was the open door thing.
