36,531 likes, how the hell? You are correct on the Ace brand. Just bolt on without touching the stock rails.
Been trying to get metalcloak to respond about two door skids, no luck. But i got a lead on a great shop an hour and a half away that may be able to fab me something onsite, i am now pursuing that option. I gotta get my exhaust protected and then replaced.I'm loving the 2 door manual.
Finding out more and more as I go. Love the adjustable gauges, new off road pages, and this lovely V6. It really likes being pushed. 3-4k rpm and it moves along just fine. It's more comfortable and quieter. What's not to love?
So...
Anyone have a lead on 2 door armor? Skid plates and rock sliders with a bit more of a step are on my list next.
Id love to love mine but they are sitting in my garage in California while I'm stuck working in Phoenix. Sadness.Do you have Rubicon? If not, I really like my JCR rock sliders.

Same! As the ‘upperclassmen’ here, I’m excited for the next class of waiting Jeeples to arrive! It’ll give us a chance to re-hash memories & help make their wait easier.I second that, Clif. We have always welcomed new friends. And always been open to new discussions. A new member, just ask, we will get excited with you! Lots of opinions on how to go about it: negotiate, pick, best dealers, you name it!
Morning! Let's get this day started because tomorrow is Friday!!Gooooood morning unicorn Jeeples!

I might give Trail Jeeps a go. Though I'm in danger of spending too much with them, they have done some amazing builds.Been trying to get metalcloak to respond about two door skids, no luck. I would be interested in a roof top tent, Gary. Please let me know when you make a choice.I might give Trail Jeeps a go. Though I'm in danger of spending too much with them, they have done some amazing builds.
I am trying to keep from overbuilding again. I just want a bit of armor and a roof top tent.![]()
I think my Top Lift Pro is scheduled for delivery this afternoon. FedEx texted 2 pieces up for delivery. Hope it’s them! If so, will let you know.I’m still (im)patiently waiting for the aftermarket to catch up with the few things I want. Vida will be 95% road warrior, with the occasional trail ride here & there. I want rock rails/steps & new headlights for sure! I was going to go big & dump money on wheels & tires while I wait, but I’ve decided to switch that up. With the money I’d spend there, I’m going to make her run better, sound better & perhaps even pull the trigger on a Top Lift Pro. I’m hoping to get an intake, spacer & exhaust ordered this week, maaaaaybe for install at the end of next month.![]()
I’m a lucky girl who has a build manager researching everything for me!The intakes and exhausts will help with sound but I've found little gain in power or mpg going that route in the past.
I'm still getting them, but just don't hope for a lot of power.
Which ones are you going with?
