Oops, sorry about that!
Does anyone have a checklist when you pick up your jeep? There was one posted quite a while ago, but can’t find it.
Here is the checklist I pulled:

  1. Check frame welds, especially those around suspension mount points.
  2. Check fuses and relays. Make sure they are all seated.
  3. Check tire pressures
  4. Check weather stripping on doors and windshield to ensure seal.
  5. Put hole in windshild washer fluid cap to prevent rear leak.
  6. Two sets of keys
  7. Jeep mini ratchet set/Torx (for hardtop/windshield/doors)
  8. Lugnut key (if you have locking lugs)
  9. Freedom top storage bag (if equipped)
  10. Carpet floor mats standard (but not if all season mats are equipped)
  11. JL Wrangler Owners Manual/Warranty guide (may just be in your Jeep’s infotainment system only). Not 100%, but can be printed if requested directly through Jeep.
  12. Jeep hitch receiver rubber insert (if trailer towing group is equipped)
  13. Towing Pkg only: small baggie with tubing and splices.
  14. Rubicon only: MOPAR Black Fuel Filler Door
  15. Cold Weather Group option, you need to be sure you get the removable cord that is part of the block heater kit (and look under your hood for it if not in a separate bag)
  16. Rubber mats inside your center console
  17. Register your car at www.mopar.com.
  18. Activate your Uconnect (if so equipped). Follow the menu prompts on your screen.
  19. Activate your hotspot if you want - https://www.att.com/jeep $10 / $20 unlimited plans for existing AT&T customers.
  20. Get your 15% off accessories coupon at www.mopar.com that you can use at most dealerships.
  21. Cover up your VIN number on the driver side that is visible from the outside. This will prevent the VIN method of car theft / fraud (Google VIN car theft fraud for details).
  22. Check for recalls

Best thing to do is test drive it, but don't think about the issue too much or you will talk yourself into thinking there is a problem.

This is my first Jeep so I dont trust myself to be able to reliably know if theres something wrong or if its just a jeep thing. So I think for lots us this "test drive before you take delivery" thing isnt really going to work
Ignorance is bliss... ;)

JBall I just want to say Congrats again. You did something that most of us could
never do. Wait so damn long and keep your cool. I myself am glad to have met you
on this thread. All of you should learn from his endeavor of how to take this like a
man. DON'T---Quit---hate---give up---lose hope---cancel order---buy anything else.
Stick it out and wait for your dream JL. I do know the pain all of this can bring and
others do also. ENJOY ENJOY you are THE MAN !!!!
