I couldn’t resist. I contacted Jeep Chat today and I’ve moved to D1 with and my JL is ‘theoretically’ scheduled for build the week of June 11!!!!!!! Wishes do come true!!!

Very encouraging! Maybe I'll check again! I disconnected from them yesterday after she told be me 2-door was delayed again and I was put back to D status the day before. I have been D for 85 days. I haven't left. Frustration. I didn't want to hear any excuses.

Im probably going to wait for Best Top since they're the ones making all the soft tops for the wranglers anyhow. I heard they were close on coming out with a few items for the 2 door but I'm not sure of the when.

Jeep chat claims I am D1 now, finally. Wouldn't give any build date just got the "be entering the build process very soon" line. Hopefully it will show up before I leave on my North East road trip with my daughter. With the way this has been going it will most likely show up the day we leave and have to sit at the dealer for 3 weeks.

Call your dealer for build (ship) date...it should show on your POC now. Congrats!

You know I’m really excited my Jeep is built. However, deciding not to go with the headliners may be a huge mistake for me....we just arrived back to Arizona after being in Italy for two years...man it’s hot...sure hope the aftermarket folks start producing for our unicorns (ditto for LEDs, should have put them on my order). I know, I know, be happy your March order is built...fingers crossed everyone’s earlier orders start moving,

Jeep Chat confirmed again today:

Darryl: I have taken a look into your new vehicle order status and your vehicle is as follows:
· All of the materials needed to start the build process have been received.
· The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon.
ETA- to be determined.

Called my dealer and they have no more information, just that the parts have been gathered and that it should be built "soon."

Soft Top Window Storage Bag?

I have been searching the other forums and websites for a JL Soft Top Window Storage Bag. Sounds like we cannot/should not roll up the windows due to the window channels like I do with my JK's windows. Can't find where to order one, even the one from MOPAR - and it looks huuuuge....

I had also been looking for a JL Sun Shade and was un-happy with what I was finding until I saw the posting on this forum for Alien SunShade. I looked there and immediately purchased a blue one for $75!

Any wisdom from anyone for a JL 2-Door Soft Top Window Storage Bag?

Someone on another thread posted they were using a Kangopod case On their JLU. Just received mine a couple days ago. of course I am still waiting for my Jeep to test it out.

Thanks, Found that thread. They are stating it is just slightly too narrow for the back window in that you have to fold the fabric sides of the back window to get it to fit in.
