I see you're on the tracking service whose name we may not speak. That service shows you are in KZ status, that your vehicle has been loaded on a rail car and it departed the Toledo yard at 3:07 AM yesterday. Given that level of detail, and the demonstrated accuracy of that data, why are you even bothering with 877 and 866? Just follow your delivery on that site, which is updated two to three times a day, and be done with it.
Does that mean he should be in KZ-M ?

Probably. The unnamed site does not track the subcategories of KZ. If you are transported by rail, it does track the date and time for passing every reporting station on the line. Handoffs to other railroads are also tracked from the drop off time until it is picked up. Transloads to trucks and final delivery are also reported.

Well me too. A Sport is what I have on order and got a call two weeks ago tomorrow (Monday) that it has been loaded up and is on its way.

Not totally a base sport, it is coming with all terrain tires and the Dana 44 limited slip.
That's the best option available. A freaking bargain at $599. Any non Rubicon should spec it.

This is getting off the 2 Door thread, but am looking forward to taking it up some 25-30% forest roads that I usually turn a rear locker on for. I really agree that a Jeep without limited slip or a locker is really just 2 wheel drive when it comes down (or going up) to it.

It's not my phone. I have three other cars and at least twenty rentals that I've paired with this phone. Never once had issues like this
Right...I forgot-sorry.

i don’t see the need with the BLD for most daily situations, unless you’re really climbing boulders...seems that that the break lock differential handles most snow, obstacles and other strange positions and offsets...could be all wrong, but i likely won’t be climbing boulders

Hello unicorn Jeeples! It’s been a crazy, busy couple of days.
Hopefully this will make up for my absence...

JK Wranglers are notoriously susceptible to crosswinds, and I see no reason why the JL would be much improved. It's largely a function of geometry and the JL is pretty similar to the JK in that regard. They are both tall, square moving boxes with a huge, flat, side elevation that acts as a big sail in a crosswind.

This is a long winded way of saying that your steering alignment could be perfectly fine. Next time you're out and you find yourself having to hold the steering wheel off centre to go straight, look at flags, tall grass, or bushes to determine the wind direction. If find yourself steering in the opposite direction of the wind, there's your issue.
True that, I’ve been herding Jeeps around since ‘75 & couldn’t agree more.

It is! Next time I am in upstate NY, we can peruse each other's Jeeps and 1911 collections.
To both of you guys, I shoot Cowboy & Wild Bunch which utilizes the veritable 1911. Cheers!

Unfortunately, it is not at all uncommon to be in "I" for days to weeks. Most do go through that stage in an hour or two at the end of the build for a last inspection. If it comes out clean, it's almost immediately released to the shipper and you go to "KZ" status.

However, if any quality issues are found, your build is taken out of the factory and stored until it can get into a garage for repairs. FCA has admitted around a 2500 vehicle backlog at any given time waiting for repairs. It seems that 2 weeks is the nominal time to get through that backlog and get your vehicle fixed. You remain in "I" status all that time.

In some rare cases, a determination is made that the issue cannot be reasonably addressed and will fail "I" status. In that situation FCA submits a clone of your original order for a new replacement build. It's happened to a few on this forum.
Do you have an estimate on how long from KZ to ship[ping? There are a several dealers in the area and my dealer alone has four (one of which is mine) "in transit". They said sometimes they get shipments all the way on truck, and sometimes on rail then truck. I am so close now to finally getting it!
