I really think they are cancelled orders but you are correct some dealers do get preferred treatment. So that is possible too.

My biggest question is why are basically identical builds ordered a month later than some built before?

So they are putting dealer inventory ahead of sold orders? That is wrong!

Im sure they are, there's one on Crestview Florida for sale and available JLR 2 door.
This one I'm getting now some else cancelled the order and I just got lucky and found it.

In regards to dealers getting stock before sold orders: Perhaps some dealers place “sold orders” without actual buyers just to get in the front of the line?

In one of Drillionaire's posts, he made a cryptic reference to a mix of sold orders to dealer orders: "I think we build sold units 1 in 4.". Which implies they still crank out dealer orders 3 in 4, but the sold orders get 25% of the production.

I looked at jeep.com site. I’m in SE. northern Florida has a few 2 doors in transit. SC and GA area (excluding Atlanta) has none other than 1 stuck in transit.
Does anyone know how accurate this site is?
Is anyone in the SC/GA area have some pending deliveries or news of progression? I’m in K status, told md in paint phase, for a week. I do t want to call any Jeep sites, which are totally unreliable.

Does anyone have an estimate or idea of how many JL 2 doors are being built either daily or weekly? My dealer seems as lost on this question as anyone. I sold my 2012 2 door Sahara (only 33,000 gentle miles) to a friend in late January after placing my order on 1/17. He paid exactly what the dealer had estimated as a trade in, but had I known the delay I'd have waited. I wanted dual tops, but not available at the time and we are way into topless weather here in N Alabama. Hurry up and wait! LOL

SAME! except now they're saying closer to June 1st. I really find it crazy how the shipping process has been. I just think they lost it on a truck somewhere and have no ETA bc they don't know where it is.
