I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, and all of us as well. Enough is enough. My order was placed 121 days ago! I have better things to do (well when I get my Jeep I will) than check the order spreadsheet first and last thing each day and look for signs of hope here. Drillionaire said a week ago I was # 15,000 in line and should go to framing May 11. Seems like a lot of orders ahead of me.
Fred when did you receive you VIN. I ordered on 1/6 and my Vin number is 11,468 less then yours and my built is suppose to start this week. Did you get your VIN within a couple of days or did you have to wait?

While I do believe FCA is prioritizing the older sold orders, they're not being scheduled by VIN. My VIN's around 20K higher than Fred and it got built this week. Parts supply appears to be the governing factor. Even when parts are available, their numbers may be such that they are rationed. That could push you back farther in line. Regardless, 2drs are now moving in numbers and orders placed in early April are being scheduled for June builds. That says to me that the backlog may be cleared in the next month or two.

Well I ordered in early February and am STILL not scheduled (yes I have the PST), but if they are starting PST supposedly in mid May, even if these new orders are hard tops you’d think I’d at least be in D1 by now. Just doesn’t seem to make much sense.

I received the EXACT same email from Nicole - word for word - on Monday. The only thing different in it was my order date of 2/1/18.
Could Nicole be related to Alexa?
I got the same damn email with different dates. lol

900 new Wrangler’s built every day, That’s incredible.
They're below target. I recall reading that they want to be in the 1100-1200 range.

I ordered a Firecracker Red Rubicon with Freedom top and fenders painted body color. Added every option that was offered. They told me the soft top wasn't available so we pulled that off the build sheet and ordered 2/15/18.

My dealer told me mine was built and waiting on shipping. Ships to Anderson, In. Hope they ship soon. Good luck to all waiting.

Couple of comments. PSTs definitely seem to throw a monkey wrench into the scheduling process. Drillionaire said this was an engineering/testing issue that I'm guessing has less predictability than supplier contracts. That could cause them to hold off scheduling to the last minute. Its also not unknown for orders to go into D1 on short notice. Back in February, FCA made an abortive attempt to start 2dr production and I went to D1 just a week in advance of startup. As we know, that was cancelled days later. Finally, you might be in D1 and not know it. The tracking spreadsheet showed me in D up to and including the day my order began building. In my experience, POCs are the best documentation to confirm D1 status.

I can’t wait for some pics tomorrow of an actual 2door in someone’s driveway. It has been a long time coming.

I find it very hard to believe as well. It would have to be all sold orders. This is my response from Drillionaire: "Your cars gateline number is 15k out from the body shop. I would look for a frame date of around May 11th".
