In my mind 2 doors don't exist either! At least not very damn many of them. I was told by Chat this morning that start up was pushed back to 5/15/18. Don't know if I really believe that but my dealer heard from a "reliable source" that since 4/9 less than twenty 2 doors have been built and the first 5 were on 4/13 and were non salable pilots.
I have been sitting in D1 for 31 days now and I know there others in D1 for longer. My 2door is a simple Sport S with a hard top.
This start up is the most FUBARed I have ever seen! In my past life as an auto parts supplier, a lot of heads would have rolled for a performance like this. Almost like some people have theorized, that FCA wants out of 2 door and are showing it!

This is exactly why I'll wait and order a 2019!

Is any one else confused how FCA cannot maintain a proper supply chain for something like LED headlights after I’ll say 8 months or so of the beginning planning phases. I work for a very large alcoholic beverage company and that seems akin to us saying “sorry customers you don’t get any products because we don’t have any bottles”. So many people would get fired/resign of that happened but how can it happen in the first place?

Which beverage company? Do you happen to work in the plant in Baldwinsville, NY?

frankly every non-rubicon owner should be spec'ing anti-spin rear axle. It's a freaking bargain.

Had to have the Manual. My dealer said I had to order the anti spin rear axle.

Hey man I forgot about that use of it. I was just narrowly thinking "who goes out of their way to make sure the car has its own lighter and ashtray"

Does anyone know how long it takes for jeepchat (JEEPCARES) to see a recent option addition I made to my build order? My dealer wrote me an email yesterday stating that he got confirmation from the factory that the anti-slip differential was added to my order but today jeepchat says otherwise, no anti-slip is relfected in their system and my vehicle still has michelin tires instead of bridgestone a/t as requested. @JeepCares.

My good friend told me 2 door production has stopped. They supply FCA and his co worker is in the Toledo plant. He confirmed they have stopped 2 door production for now.

Also want to add they did build some 2 doors, he said it was around 4-6 a day for a about a week or so.
