I hope the soft top delay is only for premium. Mine is just a vinyl top.. Ordered 1/18..
In Canada, so I don't know if this will make a difference.

I did regular soft top as well. Ordered 2/12. Still no movement.

Mine is built. They're making some at least...

and i hope for your sake its true, but seeing is believing so im waiting till,someone gets the call from their dealer telling them to come pick up their jeep.

ive been communicating directly with an executive at FCA inside the jeep wrangler brand. today, this person checked my VIN and VON and confirmed that:

a) two door production is already underway

b) premium soft top orders will not begin until second week of may. that’s what i ordered (no hard top)

the person is a strong and reliable source and privy to key details of wrangler activity. also of interest: the jeep marketing group is entirely aware of this particular forum thread, and they have been following it from afar.

also talked to my dealer today and pestered him to talk to his FCA rep who double-confirmed two door production but had no insight into premium soft top dates.

based on this, i anticipate receiving my new jeep 2 door premium soft top in early to mid june. i’ve waited this long - since january - so what’s another 6-8 weeks? bummer since i now have to ride a scooter until it arrives, or drive my wife to work, but whatevs...

Thanks Dave. this info seems to be quite reliable. I too ordered early (1/8) but with a PST so, like you should expect more of a June deliver. I think all of us would appreciate some direct communication from FCA, even if only through the Dealerships who appear clueless.

I got an email from my dealer advising me of the status; FCA contacted him with that and an ETA. The status is also corroborated by the tracking spreadsheet.

I understand your position; I'm still harboring an ounce of skepticism, and will until the JL is here. But all indicators seem to say its on its way.

The movement we want to see is for all of us in D1 to move to E. Called my dealer last night, he confirmed D1 and said is next update from FCA will be the 28th.

cool, i ordered the punk'n too, two things 1 the jeep build site finally changed the color to more represent the actual color . 2 i dont know which you prefer , but jeep is showing the punk'n rubicon with the silver dash now instead of the red on the build site.

I saw a punkn colored Jeep in person before I saw it on the configurater so I knew what it really looked like. I wanted nacho originally but the orange won me over. Which is good I guess since you can't get nacho yet.

I have mixed feelings on the dash but ultimately it doesn't matter since it's easy to pull off and wrap in whatever color you want.
