Honestly, it seems people are going from d to d1 in batches. So my read is more when the batch fills. This doesn't mean everyone in the batch has the same estimated build date rather today we're scheduling a whole week in batch.

Anytime. I’m fact, you just went to D1!! Congratulations!

Whoops, just went back to D.

I am waiting on a Premium Soft Top so can’t wait to see status of others with Premium Soft Tops moving to D1

I decided to ask Jeep Chat about the 5/14

You can take the info as you will, but I reached out to Jeep chat and they said premium soft top orders won’t begin being filled until 5/14. We just can’t win I guess

I would not believe what those nitwits say... what crapola they are spewing. Today, they told me 2 drs. will start being manufactured later this month and to check back with them then.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but that picture of the assembly line shows up too immaculate for a line that has been running for 5 or 6 months building 4 doors. I have been in many an assembly plant in my 38 years as an auto parts supplier and been around the assembly lines. All I am getting at is that I think we have received a LOT of misinformation in this whole process! My bet is that picture was taken back in2017 before start of regular production of 4 doors.

It's the thought that counts. That image is all we have till we get our Jeeps! Let us at least pretend.

Hoping you are right. I can’t ask my dealer as my salesman had a medical emergency and is out for at least another week, and the sales manager is of no help. So Jeep chat is only source of info other than here. And every 5 minutes it is different on Jeep chat and different on here.

While I have not used Jeep chat, it sure seems like their info and dates are hard to trust. Seem to recall a poster saying they asked Jeep chat for an ETA on their order, was told it would ship out in a couple of weeks, then a few hours later were notified by dealer their Jeep was in. Sooooo.... Yeah.

I mean could they be right on soft top delays and production dates? Maybe, but thus far does not seem they are very reliable. To be fair though Jeep is not the only one with issues like this in tracking. Actually better than my experience with Mazda. Those of us who dropped 500 down on their site to reserve the 2016 ND LE were given a "special" customer support rep we could call, but they could not give us ANY form of information on tracking our orders. Dealership had no info either and sales guy basically told me I would know from the Miata forums before he would know, and he was right on that :p

I work in a manufacturing facility that's operated mostly by robots and runs 24x7. It's that clean all the time. This picture to my eye, looks completely plausible .
