Been trying to order a 2-Door S Ocean Blue 3.6L V6 Automatic Trans JL with only the Premium Soft top for 3 weeks now. Should I be concerned the dealer is unable to provide a VON? Minneapolis, MN

I feel ya. Two weeks from today I turn my leased car in & have to rely on borrowing vehicles from people until my Jeep arrives.

I managed to extend the lease on my Camaro without any trouble at all. Things to note with the extension:

• I have to sign and return paperwork for the extension
• Extension payments cannot be processed through GM auto-pay. I have to call in and make the payment with a service representative.
• The price per month is the same--however, there may be a 'convenience fee' charged for submitting a payment over the phone. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
• GM required a good payment history in order to process the extension. So if you've ever missed a payment, an extension might be more difficult to obtain.

Might be worth looking into if you are to the point of bumming rides/borrowing cars.

Just heard from my dealer that they have ten 2 doors in D1 status! Unfortunately, mine was not one of them. Of those, all 10 are manual trans, 4 have hard tops, and 9 have LEDs.

I should also note that I ordered my JL with premium soft top, manual trans, and LEDs, all of which have had rumored delays in the 4 door community. If what my dealer told me proves true, then hopefully we should not have to worry about those for 2 doors.

Not mine either. I'm going up lay off the forums for a while. I started reading then daily and now the wait feels terrible. When I ignore the forums and other Jeep related materials the wait is barrable .

That is what I have done as well (I check this thread every few days)...but I do check the tracking spreadsheet daily and my dealer weekly.

Soon (any day now?) we will see a BUNCH of 2 doors move to D1 status!

So much for only the turbo on initial 2 door production; 6 speed manuals only come on the 3.6.

I just talked to Jeep chat. I was told My 2dr Rubi, Red, HT, MT is currently KZ. Cheryl said ready to ship, but no ship date. Ordered 12/23
