In KZ status! Two weeks or less I'm hoping, in central MA
What dealer did you order from? Did get kz status from your dealer or from the hot line?

My dealer (station in Mansfield) says I'm in d1 but everyone else says kz ready to ship

I ordered through Colonial in Hudson. The KZ status was first confirmed by DIllionaire, then my case manager at FCA (I had escalated pretty hard), and finally by the tracking spreadsheet here on JL forums. I have actually been keeping my dealer up to date. He was great in the beginning, but I had just grown frustrated with FCA and took things into my own hands.

Update from my dealer:

Last Monday - still D1.
Today “F” said it was in paint.

Ordered 12/23
Rubicon
We're going down the line together. Went into framing yesterday and paint this morning. My order was 1/8 and this site's tracking had me at "D" as late as yesterday evening. Fortunately, that was updated to "E" late in the day.

I told my dealer that FCA is saying my Jeep is built and he called me right back saying no way. Said he's been selling these for years and has never been off on dates. That I was still 5-6 weeks out. Waiting on my case manager at FCA to call me back. I don't know what to believe now.

Hopefully you get your Jeep soon though and don't have to deal with this mess any longer.

I strongly encourage everyone to invest a few seconds in that magic "ignore" tool.

Then I wouldn't have to see all these context-free responses to the (apparent) blatant ignorance, because it's all about me, y'know.

Just my opinion, but I can't help thinking that you're putting yourself through a lot of unnecessary grief. Where you are now, I'd take what Drillionaire said as gospel and forget the rest. Dealers are working with, at best, second hand information and FCA customer service seems to be making theirs up out of thin air. Drillioniare is giving you first hand information from the only database that matters - the one that's used to schedule and manage your vehicle's assembly.

There are now 700 posts in his status thread and I think I've read every one. I know there was a minor mix up when he admitted he looked up the wrong number for you, but that was addressed and your actual status was reconfirmed. Other than this, I'm not aware of anyone posting that the information he provided has been wrong. Out of hundreds of updates, not once have I seen someone come back with evidence that his data was inaccurate. You definitely can't say that about the various versions of FCA customer service nor dealers.

From what I read, your build comes off the line today, and assuming you pass inspection and haven't ordered headliners, you move into KZ. From there, Drillioniare can no longer help you since his manufacturing database is not tied to the shipping database. However, there are other tracking options after that to monitor delivery.

Bottom line suggestion - take it easy. You're passing the single biggest milestone in this entire process. Your JL becomes tangible and real as of today.

I've decided to just sit back and wait for the call from my dealer at this point. I was just trying to get value from the tools provided to us but obviously there isn't any to be had.

When I ordered my Jeep I had a mid June time frame in my head for delivery. I'm just going back to that expectation and waiting.
