When I ordered mine the salesmen said the hard tops just became available to order so I was under the assumption soft tops were coming first.

They paused new hardtop 2-door orders for the last 2-3 weeks. They are now able to order that combo again. Nothing to do with the builds starting this week.

I've only seen hard tops moving to D1 status and not soft tops. Still waiting to see the first build confirmation for any 2 dr.

Hard tops went on constraint a few weeks back due to reported supplier issues. This was after they had been available to order for a couple of months. Apparently, the constraint has been lifted.

I ordered a white rubi soft top 2 door on 1/20. They said they have been gather parts for 18 days now. Even though they are gather parts it is still only in D status.

I have been in D status now for 28 days. I ordered on 1/6.....Hoping to see a change by Monday.

I ordered 12/27.....was D...then C....then back to D. Rubicon hardtop manual led towing yadda yadda yadda. I'm guessing I'll be waiting for a bit

On page 5 @C137 explained the codes. I don't see any that correlate to gathering parts. I wonder if that means they're hitting the constraints posted by @JAY? See: Production Constraints | 2018+ Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JT ...

I guess I'm confused by them telling you "gathering parts," but also that you are in D which means "D: Firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available"

Anyway, I guess all we can do is hurry up and wait. Having ordered a soft top manual with LEDS (which @JAY posted have a supply constraint), I'm not going to worry until April.

I ordered 12/15 Rubicon Hardtop Manual Led Towing too and I went from D to C too
