Ironically, we did a day trip yesterday from Phoenix to LA and picked up a new camper. Going 65 mph it got 12 mpg. Highest oil temp I saw was 246 while going up a long hill while passing. Highest transmission and coolant temps were about 215.
When we pulled out Traimanor, going 70 mph I would average 18-20 mpg. Frontal area makes a big difference.
It still pulled pretty effortlessly.
