Currently my little Kozie has 72K miles. Has both the oil leak and coolant reservoir leak. The oil leak goes back in for confirmation of the exact location next week, and I should have the coolant reservoir in another month. (Gonna fix it myself) I was wondering if anyone else was thinking that these 2 services will likely have to be repeated in a another 60-70K miles you think or if it's something that'll be one and done

I'm at 69k (bought used at 63k) and have a very slow leak on the passenger mid-upper rear of the engine. Not enough to need to add oil in 5k miles but obviously moist with oil in the area that eventually accumulates a drop on the coolant lines there. I have a gravel drive so I wouldn't notice a puddle but no drips when I parked at my parents for a 3 day weekend.
Coolant reservoir was almost empty when I checked not long after buying. Topped up and it hasn't gone down so I don't think leaking or a verrrry slow one.
And another kind of leak also have what I hope is an exhaust leak since it ticks at start until it warms up a bit under low RPM load. Doesn't sound like the 3.6 rockers based on YouTube videos I've listened to but sure is annoying. TBD on that one...

I’ve got a drip coming from the oil cooler. Looks like around the screw there. I tightened it up about 3/4 turn, guess we’ll see….

which bolt? the one in the center of the picture on the cooler?
It looks like it’s coming from the small torx bolt on the oil cooler itself the one you can see in the picture in the center.

Not good. For what we pay for these JLs the coolant bottles and other leaks should not be a thing. Mine is gaining oil, waiting on dealer to receive the fuel pump.

The gain in oil is probably gas because it's a direct injected turbo and apparently that's an issue across a few brands.
I got my first used oil analysis back from horizon in January. No elevated wear metals but my 0W-40 sheared down to around a 0W-30 viscosity due to about 4.5% fuel dilution. I had put 5W-30 after for the coldest part of winter so we'll see what the analysis comes back with in a couple months when that gets changed out but I'm guessing it'll be worse in the 20 weight viscosity range.

Is the fuel pump replacement their proposed solution for oil gain or a separate issue?

Yes. Theory is injectors are fine but the o-ring behind the fuel pump is bad or the casting. Odd though it did not start until the fall, months after purchase.

sorry, modern engines don't leak. Or if they do something is wrong.
