1st timer on the trail today

Went out to Uhwarrie today for our first time on a trail. As you can see I had the good sense to not try anything that would get us into trouble. I was very glad it was a quiet day so I didn't get in anyone's way. I learned today that I have a lot to learn, but it's going to be much better than learning calculus.

Just wait til that first time you slip into 4lo and slowly go up something that you just swear cannot be done. They really are amazing vehicles.

That’s awesome man.... best thing to do is keep going out if you can, with repetition comes comfort, with comfort comes confidence, but be careful it also leads to addiction .........

They sure are. As of now it's more capable than I am competent. But, I will learn.

They good thing is Uhwarrie is approx. 45 minutes from home base, and I'm retired. That way we can go during the week when it's quiet on the trails, and learn without bothering anyone. I can see how it can become an addiction for sure. And that's gonna be tough for me. With my OCD of keeping my vehicles clean, and contracting another OCD that runs completely the opposite I'm gonna needs more medications.
