17" wheels on 4xe?

am interested in putting 17" wheels on a '22 Wrangler Unlimited 4xe that has 20".
is there anything due to regenerative brakes that require inside wheel dimension limits?
rim widths and offsets also?

maybe I can just calculate it from total weight of the jeep … as long as the 392 is heavier than the 4xe it might work

Only Saharas have the 20's. 17s are stock on all other models. You can use takeoffs.

17” wheels will work on all Wrangler JL models. The regenerative braking actually has nothing to do with the normal brakes. That actually involves the electric motor being used to slow the vehicle and add some energy back into the battery. So the brakes are actually no different on a 4xe as compared to any other JL Wrangler.

Rubicon 4xe come with 17’s. So you’re good.

I've been using 17" Rubicon wheels on my Sahara since I got the 4xe 4 years ago.

The Rubicon wheels are also significantly better in the snow than the 20" that comes with the Sahara, nothing worse than a Wrangler spinning wheels in the snow.
