After owning my 2019 JLUR 3.6 w MT for four years I have traded her in. I invested heavily in my 2019 - RCV, Adam's driveshafts, 4.88 gears, full Tera Flex long arm suspension, and so on. Many fond memories getting to learn (at times via mistakes) through the process.

While it was a great offroad vehicle, there were two things that took away from the experience - the clutch / shifter engagement of the MT and the lack of power. Even w 4.88's in hilly terrain it couldn't hold speed in 5th gear. 6th was useless.

I decided it was time to address those issues.

I ordered my black 20th anniversary 392 and it arrived mid-June. I was leery on the red interior but love it against the black exterior. As everyone says - the sound is intoxicating. I am following the recommended engine break in, painful as it was.

After only four days and 200 miles I turned it over to my local shop for a vinyl wrap and swap over many of the parts from my 2019.

Not going to lie, having my new Jeep torn apart for wrap and transfer raised the blood pressure a few points, but ultimately, I couldn't be happier with the results.

Bottom 2/3 of Jeep is wrapped in a scratch resistant vinyl to protect against the pinstriping from the overgrown trails we have in the Midwest. See video of putting a screwdriver to a test panel. Top 1/3 is something different that I liked. It looks like matte black from a distance but shows its pattern up-close.

Many thanks to Tom at Automotive Solutions Inc in Illinois. If you want amazing wrap and install work done - hit them up!!! Proof is in the pictures below!

Rock Krawler 3.5" full suspension system (coilovers up front, mid arm, etc.) installed w Artec axle armor. I haven't driven it much but so far I love it. First think I noticed is it sits much higher than my 3.5" Teraflex setup - at least an inch higher. Ride is great. Need more seat time.

There is a slight rubbing at full lock given backspacing on Teraflex Nomad wheels that I need to address.

Getting RK stabilizer then done for a bit. Not bad for only having 500 miles on odometer!

Very nice and unique wraps! Are you planning any suspension upgrades to better fit the 37” for off road? The rear may rub at full flex, totally fine front. The 20A is an extra 1/2” taller so you might be fine. I’m interested to know.

Yup going with a full Rock Krawler mid arm / coil up front set up. Gets installed in two weeks. I have a post above saved where I'll provide an update.

I want that air compressor in the tailgate!
It's pretty slick. One thing I learned in transferring parts from old jeep to new as that I couldn't swap the Teraflex HD Tire Carrier as there isn't space for the compressor. The OEM tire carrier has void where the compressor sits that does not exist with Teraflex.

Hi Mark,……great choice with RK….. simply the best IMO….the link above doesn’t match the picture, so wondering which lift you’re going with…..? I’ve been running RK forever so if you ever have any questions, hit me up…beautiful rig man…….:like:

Lol, I'm terrible at 'internetting'. Prefer the outdoors!

I'm going with their:

JLU 3.5" Adventure - X 392 Mid-arm "No-Limits" System

With coils upfront and RRD shocks in the rear. Also doing all of their steering components. Essentially everything they offer for JL / 392.

Wow, absolutely awesome originality?
How do you plan to run the front bumper?? Stubby or not? Will you transfer your winch guard winch and lights or go a different route?
