baby oil could help you get unstuck. $100 would go along way. not freak off amounts of baby oil but a jeep full.
Idk I feel like $100 of baby oil is gonna get you on a few watch lists these days.

Just curious, why the metal cloak diff skid over a rear differential cover?
It only costs a little more and gives more protection. It wraps around the diff cover and will happily get drug all over everything. It also creates a better 'ramp' to slide on over suddenly hitting the diff on stuff.

I won a $100 Visa gift card from work today.

If I wanted to run 37 early next year, what would be the one part that you think would be most likely to fail or get damaged when off-roading that I should put this money towards?

I'm looking for a part in the $150 range if at all possible.

What do you think? Steering stabilizer? Track bar? Wheel spacers?

If I run 37s next year, what one part would have benefit most from?
Dead pedal.

If there's no expiration on the gift card, or at least is more than a year, save it for rainy day repair fund.

But then, I'd probably use it towards buying a bottle of some type of higher end alcohol, so I dunno if I should be giving you advice 😅

Interesting. I'll have to look into that. Worst case scenario I buy one and sell my ARB rear diff cover on Facebook or something.

Do you think I could install a metal cloak diff skid and an ARB rear diff cover? Or do you think the inset bolt on the ARB diff cover would cause issue?

Dead pedal.
Actually already have a dead pedal.

One of those Chinese ones that they sell on extreme terrain. I actually modified mine so it has a 1/4-in steel plate behind it so you can't kill it. It's pretty beastly now.

When I first got it however, it bent the first time I used it. Not anymore though! Now it could withstand getting hit by a Vespa at 35 mph!

More than likely no. The thicker cover probably won’t fit. But you won’t need it with the diff skid.

Before I swapped to tons I used this skid and I would drag it over everything and anything without worry and I never had a problem.

I'm fairly certain @ParadigmDawg is running something similar, if not the Metal Cloak diff skid exactly. I know I've seen something gold and shiny on his diff.

Jeep Wrangler JL $100 gift card from work... 1000005138

Actually, it looks like based on how it bolts up like it wouldn't even impact the diff cover at all.

That would be awesome, because the main reason I want to get the ARB diff cover on there is for easy drainage.
