Are there any pre-filter options for the JL? I'm in Cali and the trails I frequent here can get quite dusty at times and especially in groups. It always concerns be how much dust my stock filter is probably getting hit with each trip. I

Hi, I've been waiting awhile for a snorkel kit to install on my Jeep.. Found one from Rugged Ridge PN 17756.31 High Mount, $629. What I like about this version is that most of the snorkel system is under the hood, a clean look I have a Gobi Rack and Genesis Dual Battery Kit installed...
I know that the Mopar Performance CAI is designed for the 3.6 and that the intake tube is different.
But has anyone tried to install it on the 2.0, minus the intake tube?
Since the air box and the scoop is the same, I don't see why you can't just do the cut out in the same location and let in...
I’ve recently installed a rugged ridge AmFib snorkel kit on my JL, and I must say I love the thing! Looks great, install wasn’t too bad either. Huge fan of the fact I didn’t have to cut any body panels. Check out the install video!

I’ll also consider trades.
I read up on CAI here and want to know if I got this straight. Please, correct me if I’m wrong because the Mopar CAI just became available to order as a stock option. I may add it to my diesel order.
1) HP and Tq gains?
An external intake, like Mopar CAI, should help keep hp and tq stable more...
When the 3.0L V-6 EcoDiesel was released, we learned that - unlike its 3.6L V6 Pentastar and 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder brethren - its air filter box is on the left-hand side of the engine bay. That means that current snorkel offerings for the gassers won't fit the diesel.
For those of you who own...
Here is the new Rugged Ridge JL/JT snorkel kit we just installed on some of our SEMA Jeeps. Theres no cutting involved, approx 30 min install. We opted for the high mount, but the kit also offers the low mount intake.
We are taking pre-orders today at www.doetschoffroad.com it will be on the...
