So I am new to the tire and suspension aftermarket world of Jeep, looking for some insight and expertise. I Had a TJ for about 6 years and just upgraded to the JL last Fall. I'd like to upgrade to larger tires and a modest lift but have never done so before so I have some questions. The big...
I just bought a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willy's that came with 225/75/17 tires.
I'm wondering if there's a website that calculates the biggest size tires that'll fit without affecting the jeeps steering, turning, etc?
And, I'm looking into lifting it as well but in the meantime, I'm...
Are the Mopar 2" lift kits any better than the other lift kit out there. I found someone local selling a Mopar Jeep 2" lift kit with the Fox shocks for 1100.00 new in the box but I also see a lot of other 2" lift kits much cheaper. I this kit more in price because of the Fox shock that are...
Those who have gotten the Dynatrac EnduroSport 2" lift, did it sit at a true 2" (and what else is on your jeep)? Also would be nice to know what other parts you bought with the lift, if any. Have heard that you don't need anything else, but I'm curious to know if there's anything that would make...
Hi! First post here. I drive a 2018 JLU Sport and am about to send it to the dealer to have the MOPAR lift kit installed.
I have a couple of questions...
The jeep is used mostly as a daily driver with weekend trips to the desert/sand dunes.
I like the look of the stock wheels (like the one...
Rather than spamming this whole forum with build after build in its own thread...I figured I could start adding them all in once place right here. Ill be updating this constantly.
If there are questions on any of the builds, please quote that post in your reply
I'm planning to lift my Jeep furthermore by about 1.5" from previous Rubicon suspension swap.
I'm using JKS (0-1.5") quicker disconnect in the front.
But would like perhaps longer/adjustable links in the rear as well, (do not need disconnect).
Since nobody makes adjustable rear sway bar links...
68253663 (Front driver?) / 68253664 (Front passenger?)
68253592 (Rear both?) / 68253597 (Rear both?)
Trying to figure out what these new springs are. And how much of a lift they would provide vs Stock Rubicon 4 door springs.
What we know so far - Highest Stock Rubicon (4-door) Spring part#...
Hello,
i saw this JLU sport today in service center and felt like sharing this beast! Costs around 62k USD (2019). All parts/mods used are Mopar... I dont like the bonnet and side steps though...
What do you guys think!
Hey all,
I am brand new to the Jeep community with a 2020 JLU S Altitude. I am wanting to build it out for overlanding eventually. As the title says I am thinking of doing a Rock Krawler 2.5" flex lift and instead of the RRD Shocks, getting Rancho RS9000XL shocks. I like the Rock Krawler...
Looking into the Teraflex 2.5" spacer lift. The lift has all the parts as it should, but sold separately are the adjustable Castor arms for an extra $100+. Teraflex says they are recommended but not required. Is anyone running with or without these caster arms and can you tell the difference...
I am looking to do 2-2.5 inch lift and wanted to know if anyone has done the SkyJacker 2.5 inch lift with the 2.0 Fox Shox? I’ve heard good things about this setup but wanted to get opinions of people running it and also maybe some pictures of it with 37’s would be helpful!
Thanks!
Howdy all,
I think I'm finally at a place where I'm ready to pull the trigger on doing a lift and committing myself to actually installing it as opposed to paying someone. I like the idea of having the ownership, but also to help keep labor costs down. With that in mind, I have a few questions...
Received the Dynatrac EndurSport 2in lift yesterday and reviewed the parts list to make sure I had all the components. I noticed that the springs for the front and rear had different part numbers than the included documentation.
Per the instructions the part numbers are:
Front Coil...
Starting this thread to log my experiences with the different models. Also, to answer any questions or comparisons.
I started with a 2018 2 door Rubicon. 8spd, 8.4 screen-alpine, LED, steel bumper and a few other options. Never had an issue or concern, it was amazing. It took me everywhere I...
