I've had my 2018 Wrangler Unlimited Sport for about a year now and i'm starting to get the itch to put new wheels and tires on it and possibly a lift without voiding my factory warranty. The wheels I know I want to get are 17x9 Pro Comp 69 series vintage wheels and I was told to go with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 285/70/17 with no lift and that would be a nice fitment considering there would be no rubbing and it would be good for little off-roading. On the other hand I would like to go bigger and get the same wheels with a 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler tire and a 2" Mopar lift. Overall I want just a more aggressive look on my Jeep. I really like when the wheels poke out a little further from the fender to give the jeep a "wider" look. I appreciate any help and suggestions you can give.

The 2" Mopar lift will give you more like 3"-3.5" of lift. That size tire may not be enough for that much lift - you would want at least a 315 (35"). Here is a pic of my Sport with Mopar lift and 285/70s for reference. IMO if you are doing little offroad and going more for looks consider doing spacer lift.

I believe thats what the dealership actually quoted me for. When I emailed they said " Pro comp 2" JL puck lift $175+tax". I'm guessing that is just a standard 2" lift without the coils and shocks and would allow me to run a slightly bigger tire with my jeep.

that would be one of the many spacer kits on market.

Before anything, really think about what you wanna do with your Jeep, then go from there.

This is my 2011 JK with no lift, 285/75/16, and Pro Comp Alloys. Can’t remember the offset on the wheels since I bought them many years ago but may help with idea of look.
