Does anybody using Google Maps on their 8.4 Nav screen see the street scenes or just plain white background like Waze

So about two months ago I downloaded Google Maps on my 8.4 Nav screen and it was very cool. It showed an Ariel view of all the streets. Now today when I turned on Google Maps it was a background like Waze or any of the other map programs. What happened?
