Did you air down at all for the sand? Went two years ago in my wife’s 2016 outlander. Aired down a bit and had no problem except in a few rutted areas where we bottomed out a bit. It would be way more fun in my 4xe now though!
I have a 4xe Sahara and I agree the brakes feel different. Maybe it’s because I am coming from a Mustang GT but during the first few drives I almost plowed into the car in front of me haha. They feel like the vehicle is crazy heavy which I guess it is so it makes sense but getting used to them now.
The race should have been even more of a blowout if they launched the 4xe properly in 4high auto with the gas engine on. I have a 4xe and when hitting the gas in this mode it is legit fast. Instant power! When in 2wd in first the engine restricts a lot of power.
Hey guys, apologize for the ignorance but what exactly is the 2.72:1 Selec-Trac® Full-Time 4WD System that is standard on the 4xe Sahara?
(tl;dr when can I use it?)
Coming from a mustang gt I am not familiar with Jeep’s 4 wheel drive options. I was always told you can only use Jeep’s 4 wheel...
Awesome video! Very impressive times for the 4xe. What are everyone’s thoughts launching in 4 high? Damaging to the Jeep or ok once in a while? I tried it today after watching and the acceleration is damn impressive even coming from a mustang gt!
So I am still on my first tank of gas, 330 miles and still have 3/4 of a tank of gas left. The 4xe is awesome for a short commute or running errands around town but not for everyone. Good luck
Any NJ owners out there? It looks like NJ green lighted a major EV rebate program this year but Im having trouble finding out how to apply or if it has taken effect yet. I want a level 2 charger and it would be awesome to save $500 on it! Thanks
