I thought about it many many times, I'm pretty heavily modded at this point and just don't feel like having to rebuild a new Jeep. So far everything has been covered under warranty and FCA extended my warranty to 7year 75k miles.
Here's my thoughts, it has nothing to do with not being able to figure out a fix for the issue.
It has everything to do with the fact that they don't care. They sell so many of these things that there is no reason to fix all the issues that are just pure design flaws, kinda like how we all get...
By 6thousand miles I had my top end disassembled twice, by 12 thousand miles my transmission had been dropped twice and clutch replaced once.

My alternator is currently on it's way out, making the same noise as your video. The mechanic thinks its a clutch in the alternator. I told him I go off-roading a lot and if he thinks that dirt/mud could have cause the issue and he told me the alternators were completely sealed so that shouldn't...
This thread in a nutshell:
**My Jeep is making a noise, no one knows where it is coming, I guess I qualify for a new Jeep or all my money back.**
The dramatics here are unreal, best of luck to you.
Wait, so you're well within the AZ requirements for a buy back? You have no idea what the "issue" is, and you just reported this "issue" a few weeks ago. Can you elaborate on how your Jeep qualifies?
Edit: You should do a quick google search on AZ Lemon laws, the lawyer you contacted sounds...
Yes of course, I believe the slop is specifically there because of the fact this is an off-road vehicle. If everything was as tight as can be I'd imagine off-roading could do some serious damage. You should hear the noises this thing makes when you stall on rocks at a 35* incline and you push...
I think you are very wrong. It's my belief that most people buying a wrangler have no desire or even knowledge of the fact that a wrangler has a solid front axle. The people buying wranglers are buying it because of it's name, because of how it looks, the removable top, the history, the image...
