Thanks for fixing this mistake. My apologies for not noticing the different ball diameter. Thankfully, it hasn’t been an issue yet, but I plan to order the Stabilus Tahoe struts. Hopefully, the Jeep will still perform well off-road with a GM part on it.
All good! I got the Tahoe struts yesterday and popped them on, they fit perfectly and operate fine. With the slightly smaller body and shaft they have a little more flex/deflection if you push on them right in the middle but I can't see this being an issue. I haven't had a chance to drive with the glass open yet but I'll have the Jeep out today at some point.

I’m lazy, got Amazon Prime and the flat $6 Rockauto shipping fee annoys me so I ordered mine from Amazon.

It was less than $10 more to get actual Stabilus from RockAuto after the shipping charge, I'll pay that.

Either way, had the Jeep out this evening for dinner and some errands. I can't honestly say I noticed much of a difference in airflow with the SOT open or closed and the glass open, but it was nice and felt a little more open and visibility is a tiny bit better in the rearview mirror. Also, seeing the Jeep open all around when walking up to it from behind with essentially a safari top overhead looked really nice. I hate that they didn't figure out a quick disconnect/removal system for the glass on the SOT!

Agreed, removable rear glass would be nice and probably cheaper to repair that way too. Ours with the SOT has the 392 and you can hear it much better with the rear window open. We actually leave the rear quarter windows in and raise the back glass.
