Picked up a 2025 Sahara a few weeks ago and with my love of Star Wars (except KK and RJ), knew I wanted to do a Storm Trooper theme build.

Drove 6 hours to pick her up and took a detour down to the coast.

First thing I had to do was replace the wheels and tires. Wanted Method MR305 double black (0mm offset) with Falken Wildpeak AT4W 285/70/17. Online agent was supposed to order everything and send it to a local shop. Price out the door was set. Pop in and get them put on. Showed up to appt and the tires were never ordered, so the local guy ordered them. Had them put on yesterday. Didn’t realize until today they put on the Wildpeak MTs. I like the look and the road noise isn’t awful so I’m going to stick with them.

Bummer you didn’t get the tire you wanted but they are sick tires! They do super well in the wet for an MT. I live in the PNW and I had them in a 34x12.5x17 on my WK2, they worked out well!

The AT4W are probably more practical but I’m loving the look and we had a pretty big rain storm come through Texas yesterday and they handled it well. It’s fate telling me to get out and get her dirty.

They look great!

on a side note is the dealer sticker crooked or is just the angle? I hate dealer decals anyway but to put it on crooked would make me extra mad. :)

Seriously! I was washing my rubicon on Saturday and noticed a spot on the A Pillar that has some sticker residue on it that I can’t get off. It’s almost like some type of glue.

yes it is. It won’t be there much longer. Going to do full paint correction soon and all decals are coming off. They could’ve spent 10 seconds and line it up 🙄

Finally received the last of my car audio equipment. Was going to have a shop do it but decided to do it myself.

Focal TWU 1.5” tweeters for dash
Focal Performance 165AC for knee and roll bar
12” Kicker L7T down firing sub
Kicker LX1200.5
PAC AmpPro

Plan to start tearing into tomorrow.

Nothing to do with your jeep, but thought this would give you a smile...

Badass car. Star Wars stuff is always welcome in this thread. Gotta get me a storm trooper helmet soon to embarrass my son when I drop him off at school.

I'm done with Star Wars since episode IX. What's KK and RJ?

Spent the last 2 days installing my audio equipment. First time installing car audio to this level. Wasn’t sure I could do it but am pretty damn proud of myself tackling this project. I haven’t dialed her in completely yet and need to finish the rear sub mount but she works and sounds absolutely incredible.

Ran all new wire and wired the focal tweeters and Focal 165AC knee speakers together and installed another set of 165AC in the roll bar. The Kicker sub gives just enough bass to fill things in without over powering everything.

Didn’t get shots of the roll bar upgrade but used the Metra 6.5” upgrade kit and it was pretty straight forward.

Nothing big but love the way it turned out. Clay bar’d and then added hood graphics and replaced the trail rated badge.

Working on the headliner now. Hoping to finish the freedom panels tomorrow.

you could probably snag a set of the at4w for cheap on marketplace. But I have both the at3 and 4 . The 3’s were better, and still very cheap though Americas tires
