Sweet on my way to pick her up
Everytime Jay says, "go pick it up" I get sooooooo sad!!!! Enjoy my friend! I check this thread everyday to see when Jay is going to open up the list again. Tired of chatting with Jeep and getting the same answer!

Jeep Chat is soooo annoying...just checked with them, and Adam told me I am only in day 11 of D1 status and that I should check back again in 19 days. :swear::mad:

WooHoo! Made the spreadsheet and “E” status!
Im in Austin as well and ordered a very similar JLUR Granite Crystal on the 2/12 from Nyle Maxwell. I went colored top, black fenders, but the rest is the same, plus trailer and steel bumpers/ proximity. Ive been chatting Jeep.com every day and finally after Friday/Saturday them telling me to take a break and wait 5-7 days Im trying to listen, but now with your post Im feeling the urge to check.

**UPDATE*** Just had to check and Jeep chat says I am "G" and the vehicle should be ready to ship any day! I took off one day yesterday from bothering Jeep chat and it started my build!

Is there a link to that page and/or instructions on how to sign up and how much it costs?
Pm sent. I know how frustrating it can be after several autos ordered. This is a great JL site and I could of taken a spot when it opened up but didn’t because I knew of another option and didn’t want to take away from someone who didn’t have that option, an option that would never take me away from this site and is not a JL Website.

I just tracked my order with Dylan and he told me the same thing. I don't think it's annoying that they're doing their job. If anything, I think it's great they gave me clear instructions for when to check, because it's obvious to me that a vehicle would not be built in a few days and be built well. If anything, it's pretty stupid to check in every day. That's just my two cents though.

I have been D status every time I check and one time they said I was actually C but it was listed as D. I am starting week 5 from the time of order and week 4 since they were supposed to start making Punk'n's. Should I expect to wait another 4 weeks or what?

Maybe you have not been around here long enough to hear all the stories from everyone...but Jeep Chat is not exactly know for their accuracy. They give canned responses, and will vary from person to person. They are annoying because they do not give up to date, or full information most of the time. Three days ago I was told by one of them that my build should start in the next few days, and now this guys basically says to stop checking for the next 2 weeks. So which is it!?!?!?

I’m thinking it’s all the options I got.
I heard they ran out of parts on a few of the options.
Poor planing if you ask me
They aren't supposed to start unless they have all of the parts available for your particular build.

Spent February in D1 but FINALLY things are moving along. Yesterday I was told that I"d been in G for 2 days, and I just checked and am now in JB! Suspect they are installing the steel bumpers. Hopefully not long until it is on its way to Koons! Am I naive to think it could be there by next weekend?

Hopefully we’ll share a train! Mines heading to Covert as Maxwell wouldn’t go lower than 1% below invoice for me. :fingerscrossed:

So it took me a bit but I got through to an Adam in chat. Not sure if the same one or not, but I asked him why they give the same information so much and sound like robots. He told me the following:
Adam: Since customer care is not part of the build order process, we are limited in what information we can see. What we see if the status code the vehicle us currently in and we relay this to the customer so they don't always have to contact their selling dealership just for the status code. Personally I like to give customer realistic expectations on when the vehicle order should go to the next stage to save our customers time so they don't have to spend every day checking in for an update. If you would like to check every day, we will be happy to answer the chat/phone call each time, but please beware that some phases, especially early in the build, can take several weeks for a change in the status code. For any information beyond the status code, our department is to refer you to the selling dealership as that is information we don't see from customer care.

So, if I'm reading this right, and despite my username I'd like to think that I am, I would say their responses are supposed to be canned responses since they aren't involved in building the vehicles and only see that one piece of information. So giving them shit about this...is really just you sounding like they're not doing their job when it sounds like they are and you're not following the advice of the company that they are giving and just crying about it.....
