Bought the metal cloak rear, the solid chromolly with the rubber bushing just sounded like the best combo for the rear..
Curious what you think of your choice. I debated all of this about a month ago. I went with the Rancho simply because of price. Hindsight, I probably would have done Metalcloak if I re-ordered. Honestly, they're all so much better than stock, you should notice improvement immediately. I've been very happy with mine.

Struggling to find a quality rear trackbar with rubber bushing, anyone have recommendations? Was told by my favorite shop that metalcloak and evo are kind of light and not robust.
I think you already ordered stuff. i'm slow to find this thread. but I did rancho front and rear. do both. Some people are only doing the front and I think it matters to do both.

Whats the big deal about adjusting a track bar while on the vehicle? I can literally undo my track bar with my Milwaukee Impact Wrench in like 2 minutes do a few turns, tighten the jam nut.

Also for those interested I'm running YETI components up front except for the Track Bars. My Track Bars are Rock Krawler. I also have the Synergy Steering Brace. I got all sorts of mixed products up my front end LOL.

The only reason I'm thinking of changing part of my setup is because look at the clearance I have between my Steering Stabilizer and Track Bar. The RK track bar bends forward almost whereas steer smarts bends up. I haven't had issues yet but I'm closely monitoring it.

I think the Yeti with it's giant adjuster sleeve will give you even less clearance. Several people have had issues with top-mount stabilizers interfering with the Yeti track bar. Looks like you could maybe roll your stabilizer forward a little on the track bar? I know it's close. I'm running the Fox ATS with my RK track bar.

I ended up canceling the rear, I measured the axles and the rear is perfectly centered, so I decided to do the front which is off a full inch and see how it steers

Ya I'm going to tinker with it a bit. If Not I'm going to fab up a drop bracket for the Stabilizer to drop it directly behind the tie rod.

I've never understood why some people's rear are off and some aren't. Mine was off the same as the front. Then had the dealer re-install my lift because of some issues and it was only off 1/4. Replaced the rear anyway and glad I did. the weight of the bar and the bushings are night and day difference. with 37" tires, it can't hurt and i'm really happy with the results.

Did you only replace the rear track bar or did you get a rear relocation bracket also?

ya, i might still do it, but i put on a fox ats stabilize and it's already 80% better, thinking with the front track bar in place, it should hopefully take another jump forward.. if not i will take my christmas gift certificates and buy a rear one, if i still feel i need it

Did you correct caster at all? How much of a spacer lift did you do?

I have not done anything to my caster yet, I am technically in spec, but know alot of guys are swearing by increasing it to 6.. if the track bar doesn't work, i will go to lower control arms next.. but just with the FOX ATS i am already feeling so much better.. if the track bar helps as much as guys say, then i am thinking i should be solid. I like doing one thing at a time, instead of throwing every possible fix at a problem anyways, to evaluate how much each thing helps.

Makes sense. I’m going overboard for a 2.5” spacer lift lol. I’m replacing front track bar, getting rear track bar relocation bracket, and adjustable front lower control arms. Of course I plan to keep them when I upgrade to a spring lift in the future

Sounds like your doing it correctly, good job. I’m following and doing the same. We can “Upgrade” to coils later but the rest is done. I love my stock ride, the jeep is brand new the spacer kit is my choice. Just FYI I did the longer Mopar lower control arms and I’m going to install the Rancho geometry correction brackets.

Here is a list of the top TRACK bars, with links to info, and quick notes. Please vote on favorite and leave a note of any input/knowledge you can share for those of us looking to select a product.

Teraflex - looks awesome and I love all their products that I have - it's pricey
https://teraflex.com/shop_items/jl-jlu-hd-forged-adjustable-front-track-bar-w-joint-kit-0-6-lift?vehicle=JLU Wrangler Unlimited

Yeti - Seems well regarded on-site, but also pricey
https://steersmarts.com/products/yeti-xd-jk-track-bar

RockKrawler - Recmonned by my shop, looks nice and price is right, heard parts rust easy
http://rockkrawler.com/rear-adjustable-track-bar/

MetalCloak - Chromoly sounds cool, treated with a protective coating, and their bushing patent sounds cool. Good price.
https://metalcloak.com/durotrak-track-bar-solid-chromoly-front-jl-wrangler.html

Synergy - lots of good feedback, coated
https://www.synergymfg.com/synergy-jeep-jl-hd-adjustable-front-track-bar.html?category_id=4980

Rancho - good feedback on site, good price
http://www.gorancho.com/products/ac...ancho-front-adjustable-track-bar-rs62109.html

Clayton - Good feedback on site, mid-teir pricing, Unique Johhny joint with Giiro Bushing.
https://www.claytonoffroad.com/jeep_gladiator_adjustable_front_track_bar_2020_jt

Created a poll showing the products, the delivered cost of each. I would love to see you guys vote, as well as leave comments on why you prefer or recommend a product.

(also if anyone thinks i should add another product to the convo let me know).
I have the Rancho and it is solid beef. I really don't know what the others offer for more money that is any better. The bushings on the Rancho are really nice, too. I'd love to hear what its missing, but I'm doubtful it would be anything significant. I can't imagine another track bar being any stronger or with superior bushings, but I guess time will tell.

I'm no engineer, though. I do know that I've never seen anyone break a Rancho part or complain about them.
