I went KZ on 2/23 and still no window sticker. How long does it take the sloth to hang one little sticker any way? Shows up as in transit on Jeep.com. This build processes sure is a confusing mess. Love seeing all the lucky new owners and there new Wranglers hope to be one soon. Mark

I'm afraid of this happening to mine. I worry that, before I arrive, some curious customers will ask if they can try out my 6-speed. Then I'll arrive to find like 20 miles on the odometer and throw a fit. The scenario plays out in my head repeatedly. Along with the one where I throw a fit about nonsense fees. And the one where I throw a fit about them drilling my front license plate bracket in when I asked them not to. And the one where I throw a fit because they tried to trick me into buying a JK. And the one where I throw a fit because some other guy throws a fit and I need to throw a bigger fit than that guy.

You are not alone in your worries!! I’m going to verbalize & put in writing in an email that I want no one stepping foot inside my girl when she arrives. Of course with all the info available around the forums, I’m hoping I might know when she’s set to arrive before my dealer does! Haha. Maybe. Possibly.

I am a 2 dr Rubicon, Ocean Blue, prem. soft top build, ordered 2/5, currently in 'D' status. I just spent time searching for press articles regarding problems with the JL builds - 10 pages into several different search results, I didn't see any 'press' reports of problems (did find forum threads). With so many JL and JLU's having build delays and problems, I kind of thought I might find a news article reference.

Would press reports add any urgency to FCA resolving issues?

Just curious (really confused ) if anyone has seen anything?

I think this may be more an issue with voluntary response bias. I'm not sure that the relatively small subset of people who are on these forums accurately represent production issues in general (though it certainly might). For example, there may be certain options/features that are more popular among us "enthusiasts" than the general Jeep-buying population at large (e.g., 6-speeds and premium soft tops); and those features might be the ones causing delays. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that a press release pertaining to a small number of factory orders would cause FCA to do anything, nor would it make for particularly interesting news...

I just can’t figure out why my ready to ship JLU Rubicon is sitting and waiting for multiple days at the transportation company lot in Toledo and not being delivered to my dealer just 2.5 hours away. Also, I had an ETA originally and then it changed to TBD and has not been updated. Maddening, I say!
