I hear you, I was caught off guard by how far they stick out on mine, would have preferred the to stay tucked in. That said I will be driving a lot of muddy rural roads and having the extra clearance on the inside is a good thing. I've had vehicles in the past that got so gummed up from mud build up I couldn't turn the steering wheel.Thanks for the feedback and opinions! I like the 2 you picked as well. Loved the fact that the AEV's were 8.5 and with a positive offset. Feel like that would have tucked the wheel in a bit. My only concern with 9" and -12 is it poking way out beyond the fender with 285/70s. Having said that I am likely to take the plunge all the same.
I'm hoping that a wider fender will be on the market soon because I'm pretty happy with the configuration otherwise. Wider and slight taller fenders are all this needs to be perfect.
