RHD should be possible... You have a few posts here about RHD... See post #139 here. Maybe @RuralMailLady can give some advice or point you in the right direction, or visit your local dealer. Typically, forum member here are more knowledgeable.

I had checked on this a month or so ago. My information is that Jeep is not accepting USA orders for RHD Wranglers at this time. I was told by a dealer that his new orders had been cancelled. He had successfully placed orders earlier this year.

Search for RHD on this forum. When I did my search, I got the impression that when Jeep retools for a new model, they concentrate on the LHD vehicles first. They start accepting orders for RHD vehicles at a later date. I am assuming that this has something to do with setting up production lines, etc. but I don't know for sure.

I have no hard evidence on this. This is just my understanding of the situation based on the information I have read. I know that RHD vehicles are currently being shipped to markets outside of the USA. I saw some recently at a dealer. They still had the stickers from the shipping line on the windows.

I didn't ask if they were late 2019 models or early 2020.

There are no new (2018, 2019, or 2020) RHD Wranglers.

I had been told by my local dealer that US RHD would be available this fall; however, Postal Pete in Galena says it will probably be 3 or 4 years before a US RHD is available.
There are several used ones at Postal Pete if you are willing to fork out the big $$$. They also do a factory cloned RHD Cherokee (new) that will set you back about 40,000 or they do a RHD cloned JK that runs about 50,000

I don't know your situation, but if you're new DON'T buy a new or anywhere new RHD. Find something cheap with a steering console mounted shifter (older Blazer, Durango, CRV) and make sure the job is for you. There's a reason most offices have a turnover rate so high

Been there 21 yrs. Sold my jeep a few yrs back when I got a llv. Now my son is going to be a rca and thought it would be better to have something reliable then dumping money in something old since everything old is sky high.

Glad you know how it really is! So many people hire on, spend a ton of money on a vehicle, and then find out that they can't make it on 1 day a week.

After reading your post, I spoke with another USA dealer. The rep said that Jeep is no longer making RHD vehicles.

That is so strange. They have unsold 2018 and 2019 LHD vehicles sitting in the dealer lots. At the same time they have an unfilled demand for RHD vehicles.

I know that they are manufacturing and selling 2020 RHD vehicles for their overseas markets. These are for countries where people drive on the left.

There were RHD Compass/Patriots being produced at the Belvedere, IL plant at least until 2011–my last visit there.

Subaru had a RHD option for rural carriers as well. Might give you some other options to think about.

Subaru quit making a US RHD quite a few years back, around 2000. Saturn made a RHD wagon back in the '90s. Jeep Wrangler has been the only new factory RHD available in the US for many years. The used Wrangler RHD prices are insane!

Until Jeep resumes US RHD production, rural carriers have very few choices for a RHD. Pay the outrageous cost for a used RHD and take the chance that it's not already destroyed. Buy a 25+ year old vehicle that has been imported (also big $$$), or drive a conversion with a big ugly belt.
