Got an "estimated ramp date" today. Looking for corraboration of what that means - dealer arrival or factory departure, or something else?

Was told by the dealer I can’t pickup until later tomorrow. During prep they found a “part” was missing. What the heck could it be that can be fixed by tomorrow? Any ideas?
Ugh, the wait continues

Any California people sitting in KZ?

I've been sitting for 4 days now waiting for a train.

Trying to see if any others have been sitting for longer.
If it helps I sat for a week until getting loaded on a CA train. There was a Jeep that finished earlier in the day that made a train in a day or two.

There's a method to the madness that only FCA knows and as they're a billion + euro company I assume there's a few moving parts that we'll never understand from the outside looking in.

I give up trying to make sense of the order timelines..... It would appear there is no method to the madness.
Just looked at another Rubi ordered a week after mine (Same dealer) completely loaded. It has all the options I ordered plus several more and its sitting on the lot. To add insult to injury a salesman (Obviously clueless) told me the one on the lot was "special" ordered in August and orders are taking 16 to 20 weeks due to high demand.
Just checked with Jeep Chat and mine is still in D1, 12 days and counting. I'll try to wait patiently for my turn. Hopefully soon!

Sounds like that salesman is "special"!

I know. Up to 30 days according to Jeep Chat. Doesn’t make sense why some Rubicon’s fly through the build process and others simply wait at every step. I’ll just try to somewhat patiently wait my turn

Going off the grid for four weeks. Considering that my order isn't even in "C" I think it will be safe to say that I'll be back before my JL is shipped - I hope.

Freakin Jacob is the new Royal... Made it sound like he works for the FBI, CIA, NSA and Spec Ops altogether...

Jacob: Hi, my name is Jacob with Jeep Customer Care, How may I help you today?

Jacob: Hi Michael

Michael F: Hey Jacob, how are you ? Just checking on my new Wrangler status, was F earlier today, curious how often it gets updated :)

Jacob: I can understand the importance of knowing the status of your vehicle order and I'd be happy to check for any updates.

Michael F: Thanks :)

Jacob: Our records show that your vehicle is moving through the build process and should be ready for shipping in the next day or so.

Michael F: Which letter status is it at now ?

Jacob: I'm sorry Michael, the status codes are considered proprietary and aren't supposed to be provided.

Michael F: Come on Jacob, everybody has told me before. I was F today

Jacob: I'm sorry Michael, I'm not sure why others have provided you with the codes but, we aren't supposed to be.

Michael F: So you’re not going to ?!

Jacob: This information is considered proprietary. I will not be providing proprietary information.

Michael F: Wow, that’s a new one.... Top Secret ? What level of clearance should I provide here ? Cause I have em all actually...

Jacob: I'm sorry Michael. I can't provide information isn't supposed to be given out.

Michael F: Ok, thanks then

Michael F: Bye now

Jacob: You're welcome. Have a great night!

You should have told him the cats already out of the bag here Jacob because these "proprietary" codes are posted all over the interwebs and were actually once provided by Chrysler themselves on their now defunct customer self tracking page.

So just to confirm, the night shift team is just a bunch of nazis/federal agents who got a 2nd job (probably to pay for all the mods on her Prius...) and feel like they’re protecting the holy graal, or some kind of secret sh**
After Jacob aka Joke’ob, let me introduce Alex:

Alex: Hi, my name is Alex with Jeep Customer Care, How may I help you today?

Alex: How may I help you Michael?

Michael F: Hey Alex, how are you ?! Just checking on my new Wrangler status, was F earlier today, curious how often it gets updated :)

Alex: I'll take a look here

Michael F: Awesome, thanks !

Alex: Okay, are you contacting from Canada today Michael?

Michael F: No why ?

Michael F: :)

Alex: This order is for the Canadian market, so I can't technically provide any information about the status. What I will say however, is that from the information I can access, it does not appear that there has been a change in status from what you were told before.

Michael F: Ok, so still in F/paint then I guess ? It’s weird you see the Canada, first time it’s brought up to me ;)

Alex: Still the same, and that's interesting. Okay, if you do seek more information in the future, I would technically have to suggest to contact the Canadian division of customer care, it is 1-800-465-2001

Michael F: Ok, thanks Alex ! Well Jeep cares here won’t give us any info, which is lame cause we buy the same product from the same company, for even more money...

Alex has disconnected.
