So fortunately you can sneak the tape under the edges on most of the hinge. I did custum cut with scissors the curved edges at mid-hinge. Took a but of practice, but I did it on a whim without any experience taping or ever having used plasti-dip. I just did 3 coats. Waited about 1 minute between coats and then quickly removed the tape immediately after final coat was sprayed.

Good luck! I do love the look but most importantly it has done a kick-ass job of protecting my hinges and it isn't permanent if I don't like it...

Huge difference.. went to get my OB tires rotated this morning and an older rubi was infront of me lifted and I said to myself crap my jeep needs a lift..lol...I would to put that EVO lift onMy JLUR had its first growth spurt. Mopar 2" lift kit installed. Kit had the new perches so minimal to no bowing. I have steel bumpers and steel Roam rails so I think I netted closer to the actual 2" versus the 3+ many have reported. Lastly, driveability remains good without any wandering.
Unfortunately DTD sent me the wrong color Fuel Vectors so we will have to wait another week or two before we add those.

I decided against going with beadlocks so I got a set of Method Black 701s from their trail series, they are supposed to have design element that puts them in a middle position between standard rims and beadlocks for running at lower pressures, we shall see how they do. Also had an Artec aluminum belly pan skid installed, added a Crazy Beaver shovel to the Rhino rack
