We installed our Gobi Stealth today.
It arrived Wednesday, 16 weeks to the day from when we ordered it. Fed Ex dropped off this huge box; the driver and I slid it into the garage and I unpacked it there. The packing job is first rate, though there is enough of that packing plastic wrap to cause an eco-activist to faint. The installations instructions are also very well done, good illustrations and clearly written.
Had no difficulties with the install. Got my wife, daughter, and two of the grandkids to help lift the basket into place. I sliced out a rooftop-sized piece of cardboard from the shipping container to put on the roof, under the basket, to keep from scratching the hardtop.
Very impressed with the quality of workmanship, too. I had some misgivings about the hefty pricetag, but once you have that puppy in hand, you can see the why of it. Stainless fasteners throughout, too.
Now all we need is fifty or sixty Mongolians and a couple of camels to load on top, and we are off to the races!
Next addition will be AT tires, though the AW's have served us well so far, and we are in no rush on that.
