Since there are multiple threads about this, posting in all spots:

Just to update folks on my experience with the "golden ticket." I brought it into the dealer last night after already having negotiated a price (invoice -5% plus dealer fees). Had not mentioned it at all to them. Brought it in to picker her up last night and they didn't even bat an eye. My sales guy wasn't sure but the GM just dropped the price another $500 on our already negotiated price.

So I made it into JB, waiting on some other packages or additional parts install..... But I did make it through inspection.

So generally speaking, how long have folks been in JB before hitting KZ. I know this is a hit or miss question, and I am not trying to stir the pot for folks that are trapped in shipping hell.....
I'm 8 days in JB. Makes no sense what so ever!

1/4/18 UPDATE:

We're now at 217 orders (two more than planned) so as I mentioned earlier, we're now officially CLOSED from accepting new orders to track for the time being.

We do not have an estimate for when we will open back up and won't be keeping a wait list. We'll make an announcement in this thread when we resume accepting new orders again and at that time it will be first come first serve.

What is order tracking? :whatsgoingon:
Our ability to track your Wrangler order (U.S. and Canada orders only) means you'll be able to follow the status of your order from the time of order to arrival at your dealership. You'll know when your order has been scheduled for production, the current stage of production, when it completes production, when it's shipped and when it arrives at your dealership! :champagne:

Is there a fee? :piggybank:
Our tracking service is complimentary for all JLWF members! We just ask that you participate in our discussion forums and whenever possible please support future site sponsors and advertisements if it fits with your plans.

How can I start tracking my order? :time:
1) Vote AND Post what you've ordered in the "What have you ordered" thread (REQUIRED).
2) reply below to this current thread with your order's VON # AND ORDER DATE (this is located on your order sheet from your dealer).
3) once we have seen your post, we will add your VON to the tracking list.
4) we will contact you with a password to open the tracking spreadsheet (discussed below).


How do I receive tracking updates? :ontheloo:
Once or twice a day (morning and/or afternoon), we will upload the latest tracking spreadsheet which contains the latest updates for all orders we're currently tracking. The tracking spreadsheet file will be attached to this first post and can be opened with the password you received earlier.

Will there be support provided for specific TRACKING questions I have? :bow:
This thread will be overseen by user JLWF Dealer Guy (our resident Jeep dealer) who will try to answer your tracking-related questions on a regular basis and as time permits. Please note that JLWF Dealer Guy cannot accept private messages and although we will try our best, we cannot guarantee that every question will/can be answered.

Ordered 1/18 and now in E! I’m getting very excited. I ordered a manual Rubi, so hopefully the rumor of manuals being delayed a month aren’t true.
ordered mine 1/15 and still sitting in D

So was driving by a dealer and saw them unloading some JLs so I had to go find out if they were available haha. They weren’t but, I told the guy how I ordered one and he was cool enough to look up my order.

Said it’s definitely still in Toledo and once it leaves it’s at most 10 days to ny. He said it doesn’t say why it’s being held but that normally in these situations it’s because of a specific package or add on that I ordered. He says most likely they are missing one little part of it like a bulb or screw something that’s a specific part that they are having a problem sourcing and that’s the hold up. Says your specific dealer might be able to make some noise but if that’s the case not much can be done till that part comes in.

Don’t have access to the specifics on mine on me but one package I ordered that I haven’t seen a lot of people mention on here is the trailer tow hitch package. Maybe that’s it?

Where in NY are you? I noticed the dealer website went from 17 new JLs in transit to having 3 actual JLs on showroom floor. At least some progress is being made. I was told a few weeks ago that mine was in upstate NY waiting to be delivered.

I’m on the border of queens and Long Island and my dealer is out on Long Island.

According to the guy I spoke to it’s not a shipment/getting to ny type thing it’s basically they are missing some part of my car still.

I got the exact same line from my dealership's new car manager. Said the rep claims there is nothing wrong, they are just backed up. Its odd others seem to be passing through the build process and out the gate.
No s**t, yours was done and in "I" before mine started getting built, we live in the same city, I've had mine a week. I don't get it. Hopefully soon! I feel for ya.

Everyone will get an email from Jeep a couple of days after delivery. Please, please, please tell them to bring VOTS back! Hopefully if enough people mention it they will listen. Then Jay and Dealer Guy can go back to sipping cocktails instead of updating spreadsheets.
