A day ahead of schedule. You gotta love freinds in the right places! Tire shop called to do rotation, balance and alighnment today instead of tomorrow. All done, smooth and straight and ready for action! Still can't say enough about this Jeep and how it rides with the Metalcloak kit under it!

I installed an LED light bar and led lights the other day.

Was much more difficult than on a JK. However, after hours of complaining, I realized most of the difficulty was just due to it being a different process to set up.

I had no instructions.

Long story short, you have to remove the hood cowls on both sides to run the wire. Also, the hole that used to be under the driver side dash to run wire is no longer there. There are other holes, just more work to it.

What all does that do? Do you have a link to that?
It basically put a solenoid between your interior aux switch and the winch. That way the only way the winch is hot is if I turn it on from inside the cab. Kind of anal and hopefully will never be necessary but I didn’t want to run the risk of arching wires at the winch if I were in a accident.

Makes sense. I’ll probably go that route whenever I get a winch installed.

Looks good.... do you hear any whistling or additional wind noise from it? I mean over and above the norm...lol.
No whistle. However, it constantly sounds like I'm driving through a heavy headwind. Prior to the bar there was no wind noise in the cabin.

I was just wondering because my buddy has one on his jk, and was saying the same thing.
I had them on JKs as well. If you angle the light down slightly it makes them much quieter.

I'll try messing with the angle on this one as well. See what happens.

Pretty much everything! Been my 6 month project:

Custom paint. Commando Green
Front and Rear Fab Fours Bumpers
Rock Slide Engineering Rock Slider Steps
Smittybilt 10,000# synthetic winch
2" Mopar lift
35" Nitto Trail Grapplers

Not done yet but LOVING it. Rides incredible. Will post more pics once done with the few more things I am adding on.

Attached a Before and After. HUGE change. Hard to believe it is the same Jeep.

Installed a hitch receiver for my cargo rack and finished just before it got dark. Getting ready for a trip to the beach.
My friend had a JK receiver he never installed and let me have it. I was a little worried that it would be too short, but I like where it sits and it works with my rack with room to spare.

I may deal with the wiring harness some day, but I don't really plan on towing.
