What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

sighted in the trailers Im planning to tow with the jeep. Got tired of jumping in and out 3 or 4 times because you can't see the actual hitch ball and coupler like our other vehicles, just the tire line. So I drew a line on all the trailer couplers in relation to tire line view on backup mode, now its one and done, perfect every time ....

After you have made the splice which is very easy it only requires a couple stitches through the splice to give the splice its strength and prevent it from coming apart. With Synthetic line a proper splice retains about 80% of the lines strength tying it is between 30%-50 (ish)% retention depending on the type of knot. Bending the fibers of the line is what weakens it.

hey Chris, its either from Pep Boys or Tractor Supply can't remember. But it was cheap, rated at 800/8000. 6" drop works perfect for what I tow with the jeep and accounts for the squat...1.5" spacer lift with (KM3 37s 35.5" tall)
I typically use B&W hitches on my vehicles, bit overkill for the 2dr though lol

Sounds perfect. My Jeep is lifted 2.5" w/ 35" tires. There's a new Tractor Supply store that recently opened by my house that I haven't been to yet!

6" would work perfect, I have a couple pics in my garage hooked up to a trailer and stuff, keeps the trailer level going down the road.

Replaced plastic bumper with a Rock Hard Patriot Series Full Length Aluminum Bumper. Added Warn 10-S winch and a couple Baja Design LEDs.

Just need to get the Black California Plates. Front plate...SMH.

Also, as I shift focus to the back, what kind of experience do people have with the MagnaFlow Cat Back Exhaust systems?

Installation error. I put mine in months ago, no issues and still tight. Whole vehicle took me about 15 mins.

Same here - I used the hollow tubing. Not sure if that makes a difference, but no problems.

Front is lifted and new rims/tires installed. Start working on the rear tomorrow.
