Here is the latest update on my Jeep order placed on 12/14/2017 (was my second order so I can include the remote keyless proximity entry option). /Today, mistakenly the dealer sent me my old order's status as TZB, the new order is still in status "I" . I have noticed the old VIN in his status update, that is why I called him/.

Here comes the kicker:
However, the reason why I was stuck in status "I" for 24 days now is, because they have changed the VIN number on me apparently, so JAY was checking the wrong VIN lately.
The new VON is 90007141, new VIN is 1C4HJXFG9JW170482 entered into the Jeep system as of Feb 1st 2018 (the reason why Jeep chat insisted that they only see Feb 1st as status "I" start for some reason, and declined to update me on my order status lately).
I suspect - best case scenario, without conspiracy theories - , they have found some issues during quality check and have decided to manufacture a new car instead of try to fix it (I approve this decision, BTW, I do not want an already repaired and patched car out of the factory)

So, according to my dealer, the status of the new VON/VIN is JB - Shipped to body vendor."

Your situation sucks! I am in JB now for a few days too. What is the "body vendor" and how long might we be there?

Has anyone actually been contacted by Jeep Chat after they told you they were escalating something? I was just told they were looking into why my Rubi has been stuck in I for so long and they said they would look into it and get back to me within 2 business days. But it seems like most people on here never hear back from them.

They were going to escalate my jeep, said they would call back that night, never heard from them.....they say that all the time and I don't think they actually do anything about it. I ordered 11/6 and still don't have my jeep, should be in the next day or two, but over 3months.....it has been a longgggggggg wait for me.

Good Morning Everyone!

I know everyone is experiencing the waiting game pains. My Jeep has been in D1 status for 2 weeks now with no eta on ship date. Is this normal? I thought a ship date was assigned at D1 status. This process has been a little frustrating as I have never built a car before and my Dealer said it would take 3 weeks from when I purchased (obviously a ploy to get me to buy right then and there) and it's obviously going to take a lot longer. Also does anyone know transit times to Georgia?

I was D1 for 16 days before getting into E status.

I sat in Toledo for a week on status railcar released (OK, closer to 5 days) but it took about a week after hitting KZ for me to be bound to Southern California. I think there are trains that go into the northern part of the state and some that go southern. I am in contact with another here from my dealership and he snuck out a week ahead of me and was KZ a day before me. He did order 3 weeks before me so I can at least say they did the proper priority. I've watched others delivered in CA, and it looks like it's less then 2 weeks to get here - let's hope that still holds true and you can get on your train ASAP.

May be useless data, but I have two orders that are one the same train. Order 1 was 11/3 and order 2 was 12/8. I believe the trains may be heading out by region.. I am in Orange County. Both orders sat in KZ for about a week prior to be shipped.

I wonder if the delivery region corresponds with the Zone assigned in your POC. Mine says 171 Zone 71-Los Angeles. Does this mean that it will get a train ride to the LA area?

JB - Shipped to the Body Vendor
I believe this means putting on decals on the car, as well as maybe the MOPAR items that are included in the Rubicons (steel bumpers, gas cap, hardtop headliner, rock rails, things like that, but not sure).

LOL. Just got eye rolls from the wife today now that my grab handles and door sills are here with no JL to put them on. Speaking of which, does the tub liner come with the mats or is that separate? If separate I need to order that too.

@banessi where did you find grab handles? Or are you assuming the JK grab handles will fit

Well according to Jeep chat today it hasn’t left Toledo. Sigh. 12 days in kz with no eta to dealer.

When it wasn’t even built I didn’t care, but now that it’s sitting waiting to be shipped out for over a week it’s starting to get to me.

Woohoo. And what an update it is. Confirmation it’s going by truck and it has been picked up by said truck. Only a 6.5 hour truck ride away from the area.
