Nice! Did you paint them with the calipers still on and installed on the rotor?
I removed the calipers and bracket. Cleaned everything with wheel cleaner, simple green, etc. The calipers I held up with a piece of wire so I didn’t have to disconnect the brake line.

The way it was explained to me is that since you aren't removing the cat you're fine. As far as noise, as long as you have a resonator you're in good standing legally if anyone complained. The only other thing I would add is that prior to considering this I was looking at the rock basher from AFe and there was concern that if you lived somewhere that required smog testing, the exhaust had to 1. not be split meaning if it starts as one pipe it had to remain that way (I think meaning you couldn't bypass the cat) and 2. the exhaust had to terminate at the exterior of the vehicle for carbon monoxide concerns in addition to the technician being able to hook the equipment to the exhaust since he's not going to go crawling under the vehicle to find it. I chose this mod for all the above reasons in addition to not being obnoxiously loud and if I'm going to be using it offroad I didn't want to stick a $500 exhaust on it. It's a Jeep not a Maserati.
This is where it stands in Comifornia:

The best bet here is, don't live here. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here at the moment.

Is that the warn winch plate? Which D-ring mounts did you go with? I was thinking such a setup should have a super pretty winch, like a Warn, but that Smittybilt looks good.
Yup, this winch plate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BMZTJHF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and these D-ring mounts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TEA2F32/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The D-ring mounts did have some flaws in the powder coating, like the one reviewer on Amazon mentioned, but once they are mounted you don't really notice. I'm surprised EVO sends out a good beefy mount with somewhat sketchy powder coating, but I fully expect these to get beat up offroading anyway. I have to do some touch up paint on my upper frame rails from where the factory bumper had trapped some dirt and rocks and scratched them up but gloss frame paint is just a Home Depot run away, I probably still have some from installing my rock rails and lift kit. I sealed up the fog light connector with electrical tape and tucked it away with a zip tie at the rear of the winch mount. It looks great from the front, side profile not as awesome (because of the frame down tubes showing), but it's growing on me and i'm more concerned about functionality over appearance. I figured I can always put on an aftermarket bumper later, right now I just wanted to get a winch on as we wheel alot solo and I won't have any lockers until I do my Dynatrac axles later this year. I have had many Warn winches on other rigs, used to be quite the Warn brand whore to be quite honest, I never used any of them enough to warrant the 3X cost difference for a Zeon and the lower end Warns are built in China just like the "shittybuilt". The only winch I have ever had fail on me was a Warn on my old 1970 Landcruiser. I replaced that one with a "shittybuilt" and it served me very well until I sold the vehicle several years later. I figure if this one ever craps out I'll spring for a Superwinch, or another Warn, but i'm going to give this one a chance and spend the money I saved now on other mods I want to do.I also use a sto and show licence plate mount because i have to have a front plate, the QD is awesome, I just pull the plate and toss it in the back while i'm airing down and disconnecting my swaybar. It's pricey for a plate mount but it gives plenty of clearance for a flatlink or stubby and there's no chance of it rubbing on the rope, it also doesn't flop around like some of the hinged ones. I bought it here : https://www.cjponyparts.com/license...o-for-winch-mounted-hawse-fairlead/p/SNS138A/

Yes, 95 Db. Except for motorcycles... Which is why ? Noise is noise...
the idea is that motorcycles are too often unnoticed by drivers in cars, and allowing them to be loud would capture the attention of drivers to improved safety for motorcycle riders.

I hope this isn’t 95db
I just looked it up and here's a quote from JeepJunkie

"I just installed the dynomax tailpipe after removing my muffler. The install was very simple and the fit was excellent.
I took decibel readings (JLUS with premium soft top):

Stock
Idle: 60 dB (measured outside at bumper next to tailpipe)
WOT: 2nd gear 69 dB (front seat, windows up, top up)

With dynomax pipe and no muffler
Idle: 70 dB (measured outside at rear bumper)
WOT: 2nd gear 79 dB (front seat, windows and top up)

I didn’t go on the highway yet, but I’ll take dB measurements when I do (stock on the highway with the muffler was 72 dB). It is surprisingly quiet in the cabin just cruising but I’ll get actual dB readings later."

I think we're good. Honestly I think it's more pronounced in the cabin than outside the vehicle since jeeps aren't great at noise isolation. It's absolutely quieter than the exhausts I hear on mustangs, camaros, and ricer fart can exhausts. I can't imagine anyone hassling you about this. If it was obnoxious I'd be getting dirty looks, but nobody seems to notice.
