Thanks @PCTiger90. My dealer actually offered to do this. He said to come in on 26-Feb and sign paperwork to lock in the $500 FCA “Golden Ticket”. I’ll have to ponder signing paperwork for a vehicle I don’t have yet, even if it does save me $500. Really hoping it just shows up

It’s just a slang term folks in the board use for a $500 cash rebate offer from Jeep. If you sign up for updates on the Jeep website, tell them you’re thinking of buying soon, and cross your fingers, you may get an email or mailed that contains your offer. It has a control code that the dealer uses to be reimbursed the $500. The latest one that was sent out is good through 28 FEB. The dealer, including mine, may tell you that they are not sure it will work for the JL since it is a new release. They don’t know until they put it in the system, and they can’t put it in the system until they close the deal. No one should worry though as it indeed does work for JL. Mine went through without a glitch. Based on other trade-in/end of month issues, I went ahead and signed all the paperwork over a week before my Jeep arrived. It was the most stressful week (especially when I saw my loan on my online banking and my Jeep was stuck in railway purgatory). It all worked out fine though. Couldn’t be happier now! Good luck!
It is a $500 FCA rebate certificate that is good so long as you take delivery by 28-Feb. The best anyone has been able to deduce is, if you registered on Jeep’s website for email updates on the “New Wrangler” Jeep sends you the rebate certificate. They are personalized so no swapping. I registered in September/October and got my Golden Ticket at the end of December (Jeep calls it “Bonus Cash allowance”).

X 2 on this. My productivity level has dropped dramatically this last month constantly checking for updates.It's not as much of a blessing as it may seem. While I am highly appreciative of all the work the guys do to keep it up, I find myself constantly checking for that next update(10-20x a day, yes I have a problem.) For the first month it was constant disappointment as I had never made D1. Then all of a sudden I am in KZ and my Jeep has "Departed the Yard" today.
So while yes it is awesome to track the Jeep, I would request for the next model wrangler they have drones hovering over my Jeep every step of the way so that I may keep my sanity
