"Hi Mark this is Kate from Jeep about a week ago you chatted with us to see the build stat and we have a update as to why it has been delayed little bit. So since you ordered a the vehicle with a 6 speed trans. that material is on material restriction at the currant moment so it should be about a month until they start being produced and put in to your vehicle and I would check back in with us about mid March mid to late March every thing should be on track by then and if you have any more questions do chat in with us or call us again and this case is here for you ci case you have any other questions. OK have a great day.

This was a voice mail on my cell as I did not recognize the number I don't answer and glad I didn't so I could play it over and over for this and to play for my salesman/dealer. If this is not why my Wrangler is held up just tell me don't feed me a line of BS. @JeepCares

I'll keep an eye out to see if the manuals slow down or stop being produced next week. Maybe they still have some in the pipeline, but are looking far enough out to know they won't have a transmission to allocate to your order. I can only wonder IF and what the material restriction is and why the more recent transmissions aren't affected. Sorry I don't have better intel. I feel your pain. This is an exciting yet frustrating process when it is delayed.

I finally got update earlier about my JL, it's on the way to the dealer.

The bad news:
I was able to look up my window sticker and they totally F'ed up my order. I requested the cold weather package and it wasn't listed (who would not get the cold weather package living in MASS with leather seats). Someone added the duel top group which I didn't want (I ordered the 3 piece body color top only and it is listed). My head is going to explode i'm so mad (I placed my order on 11/15).

Holy snapholes. I hope you have a copy of the correct order sheet! Double check the VIN in your window sticker lookup I assume? Sounds mighty irregular. Best of luck straightening this out, feel for you!

It's not as much of a blessing as it may seem. While I am highly appreciative of all the work the guys do to keep it up, I find myself constantly checking for that next update(10-20x a day, yes I have a problem.) For the first month it was constant disappointment as I had never made D1. Then all of a sudden I am in KZ and my Jeep has "Departed the Yard" today.
So while yes it is awesome to track the Jeep, I would request for the next model wrangler they have drones hovering over my Jeep every step of the way so that I may keep my sanity

I thought I was the only one who was that obsessed about Jay’s updates. I drove by my dealership and actually saw one (and drove it) in person for the first time today. It was a fairly stripped down auto Rubi but I loved it even more than I thought I would. Hoping mine arrives on the front end of my ETA window so I can use the Golden Ticket!!

I made it from Duluth MN to Janesville WI. Started snowing so I packed it in for the night. 800 miles tomorrow then delivery Saturday at Koons Congrats to all the deliveries today!

I dont know how true it is, but the rep I got to talk to today, I asked about two door production, he said mid March. He also mirrored peoples sentimate about the low manual production numbers, and said they just werent focussing on manuals at all. Sign of the times?

I ordered a billet JLUR soft top with all the boxes checked other than painted fenders a couple of weeks ago, and seeing the new deliveries and reading all the impatient complaints is what’s helping me endure the wait!

I got an update from my dealer that after waiting for 10 weeks my Rubi did not pass inspection and I will be getting completely different vehicle with new VIN. I'm not sure what to think of this.

Nope. Sitting in JS in Taylor, MI.

I guess they have a storage facility over there. It's either waiting for transport or has additional inspections. @teej is JB and sitting in Taylor, MI as well.

Us two are the only ones located in Taylor on the spreadsheet.

Don't know what the hell is going on there.
