I'll keep an eye out to see if the manuals slow down or stop being produced next week. Maybe they still have some in the pipeline, but are looking far enough out to know they won't have a transmission to allocate to your order. I can only wonder IF and what the material restriction is and why the more recent transmissions aren't affected. Sorry I don't have better intel. I feel your pain. This is an exciting yet frustrating process when it is delayed. Then why did the rep tell me this and I quote.
"Hi Mark this is Kate from Jeep about a week ago you chatted with us to see the build stat and we have a update as to why it has been delayed little bit. So since you ordered a the vehicle with a 6 speed trans. that material is on material restriction at the currant moment so it should be about a month until they start being produced and put in to your vehicle and I would check back in with us about mid March mid to late March every thing should be on track by then and if you have any more questions do chat in with us or call us again and this case is here for you ci case you have any other questions. OK have a great day.
This was a voice mail on my cell as I did not recognize the number I don't answer and glad I didn't so I could play it over and over for this and to play for my salesman/dealer. If this is not why my Wrangler is held up just tell me don't feed me a line of BS. @JeepCares

.) For the first month it was constant disappointment as I had never made D1. Then all of a sudden I am in KZ and my Jeep has "Departed the Yard" today.
