I recently withheld my recommendation for hiring somebody because their resume had incorrect grammar and punctuation, as well as inconsistent formatting. I have a zero tolerance policy for that stuff. In today's day and age, misspelling anything, especially on something like a resume or a published work, is inexcusable.Yes, back when journalism required talent. I feel like flipping the table reading some of these more recent articles that are full of grammatical errors and typos. I don't think anyone proofreads anymore.
