Yes, back when journalism required talent. I feel like flipping the table reading some of these more recent articles that are full of grammatical errors and typos. I don't think anyone proofreads anymore.
I can do that... I don't need to keep my license or my day job. I am made of money.I need to find a CPA that can make money grow on trees then. I hear the good ones can do that.
Or, set up a tax shelter in the Cayman Islands. Or otherwise cook the books. If Amazon doesn't have to pay taxes, why should I?
A lot of it is probably due to the print vs. online/digital thing. When you know what you're writing will be printed (and therefore very difficult to fix typos) you probably spend a lot more time proof-reading. Although, I think you're right, much of it is probably related to the much faster pace-of-life these days, too.

It's too bad you can't "work from home". I know a dude that has a couple extra bedrooms that are not in use.This Jeep is making me wish for a house in the country tbh. It's a weird feeling. Then I remind myself that my coworkers who live in Connecticut commute 4 hours a day, and I snap out of it.
Why can't I live in the City but have a garage to wrench on my Jeep? (That's also attached to my dwelling?)
