I’m really confused, what is the big delay in designing and manufacturing mods for the 2 door JL. I’ve been hunting for all kinds of stuff and keep running into “Not available yet” I would think it would be a race to get to market, bumpers, sliders, steps, lift kits (spring kit, short arm and long arm kits) fenders, Wheels, inner fenders, lighting etc... seems every where I turn there is a 6-12 week delay awaiting a part here or there...Rant over...

Basically FCA were assholes to the mod market and didn't provide demo/test vehicles to manufacturers, they had to buy their own and wait in queue like the rest of us last year, most of them started with JLUs first as the markets significantly larger. All of this was to push Mopar parts.

A lot of the parts that even came out in the initial rush last year to get stuff to market were subpar and poorly tested. That's why I don't have a ton of upgrades yet.

So you can thank FCAs infinite wisdom for waiting on pretty basic things a Jeeper expects (like the hardtop Trektop I've been waiting for for over a year).

Seems like they saw the err in their ways since I'm seeing Gladiators at just about every major group now.

As a new 2-Door JLR owner, here's my .02:

- I've been bumper shopping a lot the past few weeks and it looks like there's a decent selection of JL bumpers
- The Rubicon has decent rock rails from the factory, so at least there's that
- I think the available wheels, lighting, and fenders are pretty compatible with 2-Door and 4-Door JL's
- No clue about lift kits because I haven't started shopping for those (yet)

Will there a Mod to fix the Gladiator's gigantic wheelbase?? That would be the only one I would be interested in.

Lol, think there’s no mods for JLs? Try buying a new JK the first year ;). It takes at least 3-5 years for the mod selection to get decent, and then continues to increase every year for awhile.

I need someone local (Metro Detroit) to come by the shop to to test fit our tubular rock rails for the 2DR JL. They look like this but shorter...;)

The JL is being put on hold by several companies as they ramp up JT gladiator aftermarket items. Evo is the most guilty of this it seems. They have a plethora of stuff for the JK yet nothing for the JL in regards to bumpers.

i wish someone would make a JL rear Bumper that isn't just a JK with the holes moved. we have a license plate back there people and the spare tire relocation looks ugly and gets in the way if you have to remove your spare.

Hey question as I really dig these. In the install video they look like they stick out more flat but in the pictures they have an up angle. Is this just some weird trick of the eye? Does the "step" part stick straight out or does it bend upwards toward the door/seam? I'm hoping for the latter thanks!

Edit: just realized the install vids a 4 door. Does the 4 door option come flat and the 2 door is angled? I'm a 4 door but want the angle
