I've never heard about them taking someones money and then taking a long time to deliver. Was that a problem with any of their other product lines? Or is it just as offhanded statement because their JL time to market was longer than expected?

Nothing meant to be off handed or claiming money situations. I solely believe they will deliver on what they sell. Just making an educated guess based on anticipated supply and demand pent up from two years of showing it and making the assumption that any materials will be likely coming from somewhere which would have potential constraints due to global virus situation. The fact you can order it now as part of the kit but only in July for bumpers fully shows their anticipation of not meeting demand in a timely manner.

@DadJokes, where did you hear about a July release date on bumpers? I don't see any info about it on their site.

In the FB thread. I assume it was a moderator who got on that plainly answered the question of separate bumper availability with a month. If not, and he was just being sarcastic (based on slow availability) I edited the thread title.

Found this in the AEV website. The noted prices are base costs, additional options will make the price go up.

Ok, I’m still learning here but from what I’ve picked up so far I thought it was a bad thing to put a lot of airflow obstructing objects in front of the grill. There are bumpers that mount the winch low advertising that it has low or no obstruction.

I have no doubt they make a quality product from what I’ve read but I’m just curious about whether cooling is adversely affected, or could be in certain circumstances.

I'll let you know once I get mine and put it through it's paces.
