This looks so good! What made you decide to mount the spare there and give up that cargo space, as opposed to leaving it on the tailgate?
37 x 13.50 inch tire/wheel is very heavy, so it would have required a bumper-supported tire carrier, in my opinion. It also suspends that heavy load on the back of the vehicle instead of over the axle, which is more efficient for both towing and off road. Finally, above the lid is not space I would use for the way I use my Jeep....the space under the lid is fine for me for the cargo I will carry. If it is too big for that, it will go in my pickup truck. Everybody has different priorities.

Do you think the Mopar tailgate reinforcement is good for a 38x13.5x17?

I am skeptical of supporting a tire that size from the tailgate, even reinforced. I have not looked closely at that specific part, however.

Finally finished upgrading all the stock lights to LED's. Headlights are Kiwi Masters from Amazon from a previous post. Fog lights are inspired engineering revolvers, fenders have diode dynamics switchbacks, and the taillights are stock mopar's.

Nice!! Are those +12mm offset?
No, they are+28 so the 35 tires inside sits exactly where stock 33 tires sit. Looked through a lot of rims to find one in the +20 ish range to keep tires tucked in

No they are +28 which is why I went with that style, the inside of the 35 inch ties sit in the same spot as the 33 inch stock ones.
Ah, got it! I don’t want mine to stick out too far, a little is ok. I have a Sport S, but stock Rubi tires. The Warlords in Gunmetal are toward the top of my list— they are bad ass!

Another bull bar option for the stock steel bumpers right here. Sorry, @flyingmonkey, not trying to steal your thunder!

Last night I installed the @Maximus-3 "SLP Hoop." Easy enough to do that I completed the job in very low light, pretty much by feel! The finish was typical Maximus-3 fantastic and I encountered no fitment problems whatsoever. The little metal Maximus-3 tag (not really shown in the pics) was gratefully inconspicuous and a very classy touch.

Pros: I love the looks of this thing. It is similar to the MOPAR's low profile hoop, but without the worry of winch clearance. Indeed, its just a little bit taller without becoming ungainly. I also love the fact that Maximus uses 2.5 inch tubing whereas most others use 2 in tubing. The resultant look is beefier/better. What more, the contours allow the owner to choose between either a slightly laid back or a forward facing tilt. I chose the former for a more integrated look..

Cons: Its not inexpensive at $269.99 for just the hoop itself. I also purchased the optional $40 "reinforcement brackets" designed to tie the hoop into the frame instead of just to the skin of the bumper. However, I'm not convinced they were worth the money as it only ties into the rearmost hoop bolts. What would have been significantly better would have been if those brackets could be tied into the front bolts, or better yet, both bolts on each side. As is, I don't believe they would help much in an impact - but perhaps better than nothing!

Overall, I would definitely purchase again despite the relatively high cost. Everything I've bought from Maximus (also peep the "Stealth" license plate bracket) has been top quality in terms of fit, finish, and (but for the dubious reinforcement brackets) well designed/conceived.

I give this product 4 of 5 stars! Well done!

Did you install the bumper yourself? Is there installation instructions somewhere? I've look everywhere. Any help would be appreciated......Sippican
