There is an overarching "anti-FCA" doom and gloom sentiment hovering over the thread this morning. Even though mine is finally in transit, I am totally feeling it with y'all. I'm thinking about having some T-shirts made with chat responses on them. I only hounded chat twice but I heard them all. My favorite was when "she" said, "it takes 10-12 weeks to build a car and ship it to you". To which I responded "since this is the 10th week, you seem to be saying it should arrive at my dealer any time!"

Well you know...its not like FCA isn’t about to be hit with billions of dollars in fines from the federal government for illegal emissions...

Well, I can't truly imagine what you are going through exactly, but I have somewhat of the same frustrations. I ordered about 3 weeks after you (12/20) and went into KZ on the 26th of this month. Since then, I've been sitting somewhere called OTTAWA and chat is telling me my ETA is somewhere past 3/1. Does it really take over a month to ship it?

As a side note, your ordered in Pompano, huh? I bought the F-150 that you seen in my garage in Pompano at the Ford dealer there...used to be called World Ford. Is that place still there?
I believe its what is now Grieco Ford

I forgot to note their name, but the chat "agent" this morning basically hung up on me. They acknowledged I was in D1 when I asked and then told me to have a nice day and disconnected. That was a first for me.

Jeep chat is tired of us? :cwl:
The feeling is mutual.
They should all go out to the Toledo racetrack and smoke a joint with each other and look at all our finished cars sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Also at the same time.... curious if the Rubicon would be able to drive over the promises that Jeep and dealer have made? I know it'd be pushing the limits of the vehicle but i'd be down to try!

FYI, Dylan does not currently own a Jeep, but it is a future goal. He unfortunately told me to check back in 5-7 business days since their system is down right now. Ugghhh!

First off to all of the folks who have been waiting for months now, I feel your pain. I ordered on Dec 19th and this has been a frustrating process at times. Although I love the updates from Jay and JLWF Dealer Guy, I sometimes think it would be better to have less information and my Jeep just show up when the dealer calls. That would take away the obsession over checking this thread like a crack addict every day.

With today's update, my Jeep has finally made the weeklong train ride into Texas! Its only about 150 miles from me in San Antonio now...maybe I'll be driving my Jeep this week! I don't fully understand the shipping process and I'm sure we never will. My jeep was ordered 47 days ago, with many of the same wait times as all of you with 3-4 weeks in D1, then sitting for days in JB, waiting to load a train, sitting for a couple days in several small town rail yards in IL, MI, AK. It is fun to see the slow path of the train across the USA.

Talked to my dealer yesterday and he told me my Jeep would be here Feb 20th (even though the spreadsheet ETA is 2/6 - 2/16...I haven't told him that). Whenever I get the notification from Jay that my Jeep has been delivered, I fully expect when I call my dealer that he will be unaware - nice guy, but definitely not very knowledgeable about the mfr/delivery process - glad to have this group for tracking! Great work Jay & Dealer Guy!

Good luck to all the members still waiting in various stages - easy for me to say now, the wait is worth it, but definitely feel for everyone on this forum...it is so hard to wait.

I read that too. :asshat: Rolls down hill.....and we're at the bottom of that hill with our orders.

Mine got unloaded from the rail car here in Houston over a week ago and there it sits. Don’t know why the dealer isn’t in a hurry to sell me my Jeep. I think they might be ashamed because they aren’t returning my calls either. Trying to contain my aggravation.

Time for a personal visit. I hope this isn't a dealership you have a good relationship with, because they are blowing you off.

I’m still within my ETA window and that has been their response in emails. I don’t know what the distribution system is here, but I know it’s a large operation. Still perturbed about the wait knowing that it’s on the ground, in town.
